As my grandma used to say when delighted and surprised...

Oh My Stars!

...which is an ancient way of saying thank you....

Fans from The Ledge all put them up here so everyone could see them. There may be more, but those were the ones I could dig up. CB is very funny, and it was cool that she did them. I hope it happens again for either the Mac's or one of the solo tours.

I loved these blogs. I also remember when the one about the Atlanta show (third leg) caused such a stir. You'll have to research it to find out as I am not opening up that can of worms

For those interested, a little research should reveal the, I believe, Blockbuster (maybe it was Best Buy) tour roadie journals from the TISL tour. They are not as good as CB's, but they are pretty good.

Not really. But, to be clear, I noted it because people expressed interest in the journals. So, I thought they might like to read all the brouhaha around them, which there certainly was and it questioned the veracity of CB's statements.

I did not think I was opening the can of worms for discussion here because I did not say what the brouhaha was about, make a comment on it, etc. To me, that makes a difference.

Meh. I question the veracity of most -if not all- people linked to the band.

I haven't had time to read the "Gulliver's Travels" by Corey Buckingham...

My apologies if I step on any toes...

...the story I read (long time ago on a website far, far away) was that some poor innocent guy got picked on by security for being tall...

Is this the "incident whose name shall not be spoken" ???

It might rank right up there with the Mary Hart's (Entertainment Tonight )interview of Jane Wyman

Specifically --- Jane Wyman and Ronald Reagan ---

Mary asked Jane about her marriage to Ronald Reagan....Jane threw a hissy fit by hissing into the camera and taking the mike off saying..."YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER!!!"

I had no idea these existed, can someone recap who Cory is and how these came about? I'm assuming the fans that asked her to sign things thought she was Lindsey? Confused as to why she wouldn't just say "oh, I'm not Lindsey, you don't want me to sign this!" but alas. Lots of reading to do!

. . . .
LOL - that guy was MEEEE -- YYEEAAAAA EEEE AAAAAAAA

Seriously, I got tossed from the front row of the third leg Atlanta concert (now legend) - Essentially, the first three or four rows were not there for the first few songs and we were on the aisle of like the fifth row. The security guard told us it was okay to go to the stage, becuase it was empty. So, a couple of us went. Well, I was standing at her feet during the ending of Rhiannon and this other security guy tried to toss me off of the floor. I let him have it and went back to my seat, while EVERYONE THE FUKC ELSE was allowed to stay up there. I mean really Then, the guards picked on me a few other times like when I went to the bathroom, they tried not to let me in. Chastain park is notorious for the a##hole security volunteers. In any event, La Nicks issued her edit right after the end of Rhiannon. So, I like to think she did it for me

As to the big "incident," PM me and I'll let you in on it. Or, you can go to www.buckinghamnicks.net and click on the Fan Forum tab and then look on the second page of the Concert Review section for the review of the Atlanta show. That pretty much sums it up.

Cory Buckingham is Lindsey's niece, daughter of Greg Buckingham. There was a show in Clarkson, MI where Lindsey dedicated (September 14, 2004) a song to Cory, where fans see her off on the side crying, a very touching and emotional moment. Greg Buckingham is Lindsey's older brother that won a silver metal in the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City. His brother Greg passed away in November, 1990. (Cory would be about 11 years old when she lost her father. Being together with her uncle and the Fleetwood Mac family had to be pretty special.)

www.buckinghamnicks.net ?

Oh hell no....I'm PM'ing you....

As for security and Atlanta...isn't that the place where the Olympics were held...and security nabbed some poor sucker called Richard....and tied him to some suspicious backpack....and years later, they (the authorities that be) found out....GASP THEY HAD THE WRONG GUY

But poor Richard didn't get his press --- or any apologies ---

That's what I like about *rent-a-cop* ---

Like when you see a security guard...you just wanna ask...

"Who died and made you God?"
