Its not Wild Heart. Her face had filled out a little ore by then, if you've seen the US Festival. I would bet an arm and a leg that this photo is from the Mirage tour.

Yeah I know, I'm not saying this is a WH pic, just that she also had the black ribbon for some WH shows.

It looks to me like the Street Angel tour.

I ditto that it looks def like Mirage. I am basing it it on her pantyhose, of all things. Far as I know, the only really woo-woo shot of Stevie that credibly exists was taken during her spin-out on the Mirage live concert video (you know, the one that was broadcast on HBO back in the day, the one where she does the speaking in tongues bit). In that spin, after her SOTM freak-out, you clearly see her darker pantyhose and (gasp) her panties too, or at least the panty part of the pantyhose.

Excellent question. I would say early-phase Street Angel. Consider the quality of her look at the Roxbury gig July 14, that wistfull, evanescent hint of longing -- as if for something just beyond the horizon under a setting sun -- in her eyes, & the way her hair veered more Left than Right.

By the time Stevie played Houston & Las Vegas in September, the longing in her eyes was replaced by a smug satisfaction -- the cat & her custard cup -- & the hair veering Right & then Down, ending just below the jiggly bellybutton, where the flesh seemed to explode in a veritable concupiscence of drool.

If you weren't so nice, Jannie, I'd klonk you on the head!

I feel so accepted in this sort of conversation ... We're all such nerds....

from How to tell a real Stevie fan from a fake Stevie fan
~ By SortaSavageLike

-A fake Stevie fan can't tell if a picture of Stevie was taken in 1976 or in 1984.
- A real Stevie fan can determine the time and place a picture of Stevie was taken just by looking at her jewelry, hair style, microphone, or that chip on her right middle tooth that disappeared in the mid 80s.

Or in this case, pantyhose.
