I am happy for you if you are for him.
Hillary took a beating, no two ways about it. And, Edwards, the one I like, did surprisingly well. All of this must, of course, be taken with a grain of salt because Iowa has a history of rejecting female candidates and they are a maverick state. Also, Hillary is still ahead in the almost all of if not all of the national last I checked and certainly in the states that count from an electoral vote point of view. But, Obama will get a bounce from this and he deserves it for campaigning hard and not just winning, but slamming his opponents. |

Well a balck man just won one of the whitest states in the US. he even won alot of the western farm counties and they are saying he even beat Hillary in her core base of women voters..I believe he has a real chance of getting the nomination.

Iowa, in both genders, has a history of being maverick caucas state. in the end, Obama certainly is a serious contender. I think Hillary will win the nomination because she has more money and fire power -- not to mention experience. I am not a huge fan of HC, I am just analyzing the facts and reaching what I think is the logical conclusion. Again, I think she saw this defeat coming a few weeks ago. She certainly was in pre damage control for the last day or so. But, the fact remains she will win where it counts (Florida, California, Pennsylvania, and New York -- possibly Texas and Illonois (yes, I know it is Obama country) as well. But, time will tell and I certainly would vote for Obama if he got the nomination. Telling in this is Edwards mostly strong finish in Iowa. He has been all but discarded elsewhere. In the end, I am thinking a Clinton - Obama ticket is what we will wind up with. |
