Demos beginning with the letter E

[kathy1]

where do you get all these demos from?

[vivfox]

The point of these quick tracks is to hear Stevie's different Edge wails. If you downloaded one of these you haven't reached my desired affect. You must listen to them ALL in order to fully enjoy yourself. All of them are only approx. 10 seconds long so get 'em all and let her rip.

Hey! I recognize that shot in the middle there. It's Rhiannon on 8.31.80. It was taken by a person named Dorian Boese, who operated her concert photo business in Phoenix. I have a bunch of her shots from the first night at the Bowl.

Then maybe it was taken on 8.29.80 when FM played in Phoenix??

I have been really busy finishing this semester (one more to go!) so I have had no time to even look at these threads. Okay so I've been sitting here listening to these demos now for HOURS. :|

Thank you SO MUCH for posting these- I'm really looking forward to whatever else you plan to share with us.

[vivfox]

These are the last surviving links of the Edge wails. Get 'em while you can!

Everywhere--very good vocals between Christine and Lindsey

These links are still good--so pick em up while you can.

Edge Of Seventeen--Take 12--March 9,1981--early studio recording--

Edge Of Seventeen--Take 7--Better vocals than the one above--

Edge Of Bootylicious (Destiny's Child vs. Stevie Nicks)
http://www.speedyshare.com/449406329.html

Edge Of Seventeen--this song came to me labeled as EXTENDED DOVE C--Shortly after the 4 minute mark there is a major tempo change--there are added background vocals that were not used in the BD Album version--I thought it was fan made, but I guess not--eight and a half minutes long--
http://www.speedyshare.com/655409711.html

Edge Of Seventeen--this song came to me labeled as MYNC MIX--this is a smooth mix of House Music--
http://www.speedyshare.com/774169981.html

Everybody Finds Out--one of the channel mixes--some acoustic guitar is heard, but mostly Stevie singing with the bass and drum tracks--
http://www.speedyshare.com/657708694.html

Everywhere--very good vocals between Christine and Lindsey--good enough imo to have been on the album--
http://www.speedyshare.com/217279377.html

Eyes Of The World--this song came to me labeled as #2--very good vocals between Lindsey and Chris--
http://www.speedyshare.com/947884489.html

August 16,1982 Fleetwood Mac is in a rehearsal for their upcoming Mirage Tour. There's a long space of unused music when I can picture Stevie picking up a guitar and playing and singing Edge of 17. Well she may not be playing it but she definately sings it--

I just got around to listening to this one tonight, and it's one version I have never heard before.

It amazes me how these versions show up here and there. I am glad that there have been collectors from way back when, who share with the newbies, like myself....and that there is a place called the Ledge, where I can find gems like these.

(It makes me appreciate the Ledge and its generous members.)

and....the music makes my life much happier.

As a longtime collector I feel the exact same way you just expressed here. I certainly don't have everything that's out there! This particular track had been on my computer for God knows how long and I first heard it only a couple of weeks ago and I'm thinking, 'wow where did this come from?'I also agree with you about The Ledge being a gem and so are you Betsy for always leaving a positive comment in each of my posts.
