what a long-winded, overwrought and BORING little treatise that was. and here i thought you had fu**ed off already.

go away.

See, this is what people are talking about. You have the right to say what you want. But, don't act surprised when people say this kind of thing drives people away

Note - I make no comment on the veracity of either party here. I comment solely on the antagonistic vibe of the post and the general comment made earlier by Markolas.

In the end, wouldn't it just be better to put Taken on ignore if he drives you that batty?

Actually, I meant LOTC was timeless and generally if not universally considered great. UTS hold no such pedigree and likely never will. Again, I am not saying LB is not brilliant or that UTS was not an artistic triumph for him on a personal scale. I am just saying it was not "great" as I define that term; conversely LOTC was great and stands in sparse company - a paucity of equals if you will. Interestingly, Tusk, which was both great and mostly LB's brain child, stands in that inner circle of greatness

Then that is rather pathetic on your part. Are you deliberately anatagonistic with the intent of driving people away and with the knowledge to the point of being unsurprised when that goal is achieved

Somehow, I doubt that.

But, and to the point, if not you, then others refuted that their and your actions drove people away. I submit that the referenced post is an example of how people could be turned off from here.

In the end, ignore is always the best option. Sadly, many, including me, rarely take that advice.

Actually, you responded to my statement "don't act surprised when people say this kind of thing drives people away" -- more than one person said it and you did not limit the response to Markolas

Hey you guys be careful because they're probably gonna put a lock on this thread & I don't want it to get locked.

I thought mark & paula were pals, & I thought justin & carrie were pals, so obviously the loading & server troubles I'm having with the whole board are worse than I thought.

I know - I never had any problems Justin. It all must have gone down in my absence.

Also -- I am against the mod.'s locking this thread. Please do not do that!
