It's weird this country of mine. High in the mountains you can see beautiful place like those I showed to you, but Lima in the shore is far different. This park is near my home..

In Peru we eat this animal, called CUY, I think it's the same "guinea pig", but many people don't like cause they think they are like rats. I've never tasted it.


This family doesn't care about the highway, we have to wait minutes to go on..

Thanks Villavic. Wonderful photos again. My friend is just about to go backpacking in chile, peru, argentine and brazil so these were of interest to us.

I've never understood how people could eat something so damn cute. Here's my former "cuy" named Margaret. She died in February from Kidney Failure.
