awwww noooo lol it wasn't. actually when I looked again, I was thinking "is it really a belt?" even tho I knew it wasn't hahahah..

This has GOT to be one of the coolest Stevie pics I've seen in a while. I love the naturalness of it, like you could just imagine being back in 1978 and seeing this outdoor show and her flipping the back of her hair like that. The only thing that could make this cooler is if this was one of those periods where she was putting in a few streaks of silver or green in her hair. Thanks so much for posting this pic. It sure is making alot of people here happy!

and i hate to be the debbie downer, but...i mean..the pic is "okay" but...there are tons that I think are way better. I just don't see the big deal

haha, at first i thought it was her stomach too, then i looked again, and it was like 'i think its a belt now that i look at it' but yeah.

I agree Michelle, the picture is pretty, but I have seen better ones too. I personally think that the one right above it would be 10x better if it werent blury.
Its just the whole 'Black' thing. Stevie is known for her black gowns, not red ones, and that is what kindof ruins the 'amazing' picture for me

Its just the whole 'Black' thing. Stevie is known for her black gowns, not red ones, and that is what kindof ruins the 'amazing' picture for me

well, it's not really the fact that it's red, because i love mama in some color. but idk...i'll just stick with "it's okay"

For me I guess it's just that youthful look about her. Throw in the red and headdress-great.
I'm partial to many photos from this era though.
