I was at the show last night and it was a great show. Stevie was really talkative. And Crash was pretty hot. I was sitting in the pit and my seat was about a foot from the stage with nobody in front of me. So, I stood at the stage all night, with Lori, Jana and Sharon right in front of me.
It was nice because security had everyone under control. There was a 3 1/2 foot wall separating the pit from the rest of the seats with only 2 or 3 entrances. And you had to have your ticket to get in. They didn't let anybody in during Edge and it was really nice to stand there and watch the show without a bunch of idiots pushing me up against the stage and pushing their way in front of me. It was a nice, relaxed show. I honestly wish she would just quit doing the Edge walk for that reason. Because at most of the venues, if you have a close seat, you inevitably have a bunch of a-holes thinking they are entitled to get to the stage. If she did away with the walk, the show would be more enjoyable, IMO. Anyway, I liked Crash. And Sara was fabulous. I was prepared to hear the same old set so I was very surprised to hear a few different selections. And I really like FFG being in the set. It is very kick ass live. She puts a lot of feeling into it. Like she gets pissed while she's singing it. I love it. The only drawback to being so close is that there weren't any speakers right there. The speakers were kind of behind me, so while I could hear her singing, I had a hard time hearing her talking in between songs. I took a lot of pictures. I'll post some of them in the pic thread. |

[QUOTE=Carol Lee;727383]I would have had an even better time if the chick next to me would have left me alone. I finally complained to security about her as she was touching me and getting in my face and then she was pissed and kept saying I was trying to get her kicked out.QUOTE]
Carol Lee, where was your seat? I was in the orchestra pit, and there was an obnoxious woman there who was doing similar things. I can't complain because I got to hold Stevie's hand on the Edge walk for the first time. I have to agree with Glenn that this was one of the best Stevie shows ever. Love the chattiness and the humor she puts into the stories. It's great to hear new things and to even to have her experiment with other people's songs, but Crash Into Me seemed rather awkward. It was fun to see her do the "hike up your skirt" line, though. GypsyCat |

That's fine, it just makes you look uneducated. Just thought that I would point out that you are spelling a common word wrong....along with others such as: PERFORM, COMPLETELY, CLAMMERING, SURPRISES and IT (not Id).

Stevie looked & sounded BEAUTIFUL at this show, I was amazed. I was so happy for our girl. She is better than ever. Please know, Stevie, that you give us all a reason to believe & a reason to go on. God bless.
My favorite song of the night was Dreams. It was as beautiful this night as it was all those many, many years ago . . . . ~*~ ~*~~*~~*~

So close, but it's U S E L E S S. Two "E's". I know it's difficult learning to spell, but it can be fun. Last edited by CrystalMeth; 10-21-2007 at 06:39 AM.. Reason: typo |
