I got caught videoing Sara. They escorted me out after the song and confiscated my camera. Here's the deal on that...................As the security guards (2) walked in back of me, I took out the SD card and slipped it in my pocket. When the three of them (they started making a federal case of it and another arrived) tried to get the video off the camera, it wouldnt come up since I had the SD card in my pocket. The main guy started yelling at me to give it up and I refused. He finally let me go back to my seat. I havent had a chance to see how much I got. Lots of people had cell cameras so someone must have it.

Yes! Someone must upload Crash Into Me (isn't that the official title, btw?). I am dying to hear Stevie sing those words. That's hot.

I finally complained to security about her as she was touching me and getting in my face and then she was pissed and kept saying I was trying to get her kicked out.
Ahhh ... the joys of rock concert-going.

Yeah, but I just realized at the rate Stevie is going, with these 2 new changes, this is probably gunna be the set list for her show for the next year and a half.

Actually you are right..... The correct title of the song is Crash Into Me, but many people including DMB fans simply call is as crash, and its the song that got me hooked on the Dave Matthews Band. So Stevie singing it is going to be interesting. Maybe Dave Matthews was in attendance last night?

could be interesting. Great setlist though

I think it will sound quite nice, as it should be good for her range. as he sings in the sort of higher male register, and she sings in the lower female register.
For those not familiar with the song here is the video for the dave mathews version. The first 5 seconds of the video ALLWAYS used to make me think of stevie annyway.

I love that she did "crash"....wether you're a fan of the song or not it's interesting to see what she sings along to....ya know?...I don't know why anyone might be disappointed...it was even cooler (I think), because it wasn't what anyone would expect from her....multi-faceted comes to mind.........heck she could sing the oscar mayer weiner jingle and make it sound great!!!!

just me!! bye!!

What I find amazingly ballsy about Stevie doing "Crash into Me" is that it's just sooo not Stevie on sooo many levels:

-Its relatively racy lyrics (from a male perspective).
-Crazy time signatures.
-Unusual chords.
-It's actually not an easy song to sing.

I'm also not a fan of Stevie doing lots of covers of other artists' material, but it's probably healthy for her to experiment with some other styles of music every once in a while. After playing the same songs for the past few years, she probably needs a little shock to the system.

I cant stand Dave Matthews, but I will be interested to hear her version of Crash. That's one of the few DMB songs I like.

Okay, I just watched this video and am having a hard time seeing Stevie sing this song, but will just have to wait until the boots come out or see it on Sound Stage. I can sort of see Stevie steaming up the lyrics and having fun with it though I guess, just a total surprise here... but glad she is trying out new stuff.

Now is it me or does this video look like it was directed by the same person that directed Every Day or even REM's "Losing My Religion"?
