I just bought mine. Huge display at Best Buy, with about 100 copies.

I already have plans tonight, but if I get home early enough, I'll probably watch the first 2-hour disc.

Oh and by the way. Stevie's big "scene" is an hour and 40 mins or so into the first disc. They talk about "Insider", "Stop Draggin'" and how that all came to be and how SDMHA killed Petty's solo single released at the same time. The cool thing is the in the studio footage of Stevie and Tom working on SDMHA which has been shown in bits and pieces on MTV over the years. Note, they were WORKING on the song, Stevie's version is just Tom Petty's solo version with her and the girls vocals dubbed into it.

I never realized this. It must've been trippy for him to hear it when it was done!

I was pleasantly surprised by how much time was spent on this segment, so I'm glad I picked this up.

Also, is Jimmy Iovine balding? Seems like everytime I've see him in the media in the past 5-10 years he is always wearing a baseball cap, as he is in this film. I get the feeling he is covering something (or the lack of something) up. He had such a thick head of hair when he was younger.

The sticker on the shrink wrap says $29.99, but as others have already mentioned, it's on sale this week for $24.99. Are you really saving any money buying online after you pay for shipping and handling? In other words, go get it now!!!

I stayed up very late watching it last nite. I was only planning to watch the first disc, but it sucks you in!

Oh how exciting! I SOOOOOO can't wait for mine to come, and hopefully it will be for this weekend! And I've now convinced myself, even though I did order it on-line, that by the time you pay shipping and handling fees, you may as well just go and get the darn thing! LOLOL..

Picked up my copy yesterday along with the book (which I havent even looked at yet - will do so this weekend) and a sassy new HD DVD player!

I hooked up my DVD player (it was a breeze), lit a bunch of candles and opened a bottle of champagne. I put in Disc #3 and fast forwarded the concert to SDMHA, INTK, Insider and DCAHNM. Stevie looked and sounded amazing. "Insider", in particular, is just flawless. Made me remember how veklampt Livia and I got when we first saw it in St Louis last summer.

Then, I put the Tomumentary in. It's just awesome. I was up until almost one in the morning watching the whole thing. I'm going to watch a lot of it again tonight. Worth every penny. I adore the Heartbreakers and I've always loved Tom more than my luggage. This is really a very special thing.

Dont wait to get it -- buy it NOW!!!

.......I loved this post. and the "Tomumentary" It sounds like exacally what i did. and am VERY tired today, but totally worth it. I ADORED the stevie segment, i love how he says that she was very understanding about not bieng able to give up insider, and how she just really adores Tom Petty and the heartbreakers, and acknowledges how they are responsible for getting her solo career started. Plus she looks and sonds AMAZING in the DVD. Insider ahhhhhhhh. waited for that live for soooo long. Thought id never be done again, and whallahh. Beautiful.........................................

I ordered it online with the pre-order. The total came to $25.74 (They charged 75 cents for tax...?)

The Best Buy E-mail said it went out on Monday the 15th...but it's kinda screwy. It goes to the UPS for sorting and then UPS gives it to the US Postal Service, so it arrives that way.

Oh, Tom, Tom,
Where art thou?

Riding around in some little white jeep with a logo of a red, white and blue eagle on it?

I didn't make it to Best Buy last night and I was on the treadmill just fuming. I plan on picking it up Saturday and watching it all the way through. hearing Insider live was an amazing experience and I'm glad it's captured on this DVD.
