Default Heaven and Hell Stevie Mention

Times Onlinehttp://entertainment.timesonline.co....cle2638985.ece

"After two serious relationships ended with the woman leaving him, Don began a two-year on-off relationship with Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac, who were on the road as much as we were. He began paying for her to be flown between Eagles and Fleetwood Mac gigs, engendering the band’s new catchphrase: “Love ’em and Lear ’em.” "

Thank you for posting. It's also a great article on The Eagles as well. I got a kick out of Don Henley writing a letter to the studio maid instructing her to place the toilet paper over instead of under, and why it should be that way!

Don Henley’s discrimination and discretion increased with his wealth. He began dating high-class, high-profile women and would arrange to have them come out on the road one after another

I wonder if Stevie knew she was one of many of Don's girls, at that time?

Great signature! I love that album and the cover! Marc Sasso is a cool artist!

(When I read the thread title I wondered if "Heaven and Hell" was in reference to Dio's current Black Sabbath reunion. I thought it unlikely that it was, but it was strange that I should find a Dio related sig )

"Love em and Lear em"~ she did say once that Don taught her how to spend money~ w/ him flying her in and out between gigs after being in Mac only 2 years she must have thought she was pretty special~ I wonder if she thought she was the only one~ Maybe she didn't care! I wonder what her personal thoughts on Don were~ she has all this to say about Lindsey, some about Joe but what about Don~ She really needs to right a biography about the rock n roll men in her lives or just an auto, she probably never will~ she only does bits and pieces~

I'd heard that this book by Felder had been cancelled here in the U.S., but it appears it's going to be published in the U.K. Interesting reading to be sure.

I always thought Ronnie James Dio and Stevie would make a good couple cause they're both into the same kind of imagery.
