I think she's looked fantastic in these photo sessions. Current, colorful, and creative (pardon the alliteration).

I love that picture ...... but she forgot to put her pants on!!

I like the sheriff's badge too. I believe Stevie has been deputized. She wasn't put on this world to be a cleaning lady. She wasn't put on this world to be a poet or a singer or a rock star. She was put here for law enforcement.

Both her and Shaquille O'Neal.

Thanks to both of you (Vivfox and Trackaghost) for posting the article and the photo.

I often wonder, if interviews are more candid when given to reporters - when the material will appear overseas and not in the USA.

I bought a couple Australian magazines and was surprised at how differently Stevie answered questions....

I do think that they are more candid with what they say. On the other hand, sometimes I have questioned the validity of some print comments reported. So, I think the press is more lax as well. When you put that combination (unfettered candor and suspect reporting) together, you get some pretty amazing things.

No way are you going to get an American interview in which Stevie says sometimes her niece gets so engrossed in computers that she just wants to slap her. I was talking to my own teenaged niece about her cell phone billing Thursday and I was annoyed enough to want to slap her (luckily, we were in different states at the time). So, I understand the urge. I just don't think
it's something Stevie would usually say.

Speaking of Stevie interview comments, Will Sheff mentions the sacrifice Stevie made for FM in not having children in the Houston Chronicle. Of course, Sheff doesn't realize that Stevie had up to 5 years off from FM at a time, during prime childbearing years, but . . .

i hope you're kidding. the US media is by and large a joke i don't know about australia but i'm pretty sure the UK has some pretty strict libel laws.

You are very welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed the article. Also thank you to Trackaghost because the beautiful photo you posted was not the same one that was presented to me in the article. I never saw that one.

The UK has stricter libel laws than the United States does and really the burden of proof is on the Defendant and not on the Plaintiff in the UK, which gives someone less to lose if they sue. Furthermore, the UK allows more censorship than the US does right now.

Actually, most of the suspicious comments I was thinking about come out of Australia and that's not restricted to FM. I read Australian magazines with coverage of American tv shows and celebrities that are also eyebrow raising.

However, what I was talking about regarding the reporting really is not in the "libel" category. I'm not talking about someone being defamed. I'm not talking about tabloid magazines that make up stories out of whole cloth. I'm talking about interviews in which the subject actually does speak to the reporter, but is misquoted or has their words taken out of context.
