Are you serious? Do you hear Madonna on rock stations? I don't. Stevie may be more pop but I know Madonna isn't rock. Like A Virgin and Like A Prayer don't rock me.

I don't care what you say or what your reasoning is, Stevie should be in before Madonna. period.

But Stevie has already been inducted! Just because she was inducted with other members of Fleetwood Mac doesn't make the fact that she is in there any less significant. She has been recognized as a rock artist! How many other inductees have had solo careers after a band and been put in again twice? Just Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson as far as I know. And in my opinion, a second induction is taking a slot from other deserving artists. I can see someone not wanting a particular artist to go in... but because they want someone else to be in TWICE is selfish.

Just because you want her to be broadcast on a cable special doing Stand Back.. again?

John Lennon
George Harrison
Eric Clapton (who's in there three times: Yardbirds, Cream, and solo)
Neil Young (Buffalo Springfield and solo)

-ON THAT SAME NOTE: Some other multiple inductees-

Stephen Stills (Buffalo Springfied and Crosby Stills & Nash)
David Crosby (Byrds and Crosby Stills and Nash)
Jimmy Page (Yardbirds and Led Zepplin)

Thanks for that.

I don't see Stevie getting in with that group as a multiple.

Why don't they just turn over the keys to the place to him?

You're talking about a sub-genre of rock music. I was being specific about rock 'n' roll which it says it's about, like Chuck Berry rock 'n' roll. Just being technical because if we're going to be technical about a rock 'n' roll hall of fame then it would be get very hard to find artists who were actually rock 'n' roll. Most of the artists in their aren't rock 'n' roll anyway so it seems like it's just about the impact the artist has had and Madonna has had more impact than Stevie.
