I completely agree... the thin, long babies have a stringy type of meat, whereas the chubsters are much more thick, juicy, and tender. I especially like mine with glazed carrots and wild rice.
Well I don't know about your dog, but mine at least doesn't throw tantrums in the middle of restaurants...nothing ruins a nice meal of BabyThigh than a live-baby screaming bloody murder

Oh, I know. Every time that happens, I think to myself "ugh, I wish they'd go on and throw that one in the pot." ...Like lobster.

This is effed up.

that is effed up...

But possibly no worse than my friend who, when faced with screaming children at restaurants/stores, says, "you know if you shake it it'll stop..." or "if you slap it really hard it'll stop..."

Yeah. Not a fan of babies. But dogs? Me and my partner are planing on having a ton

lol, i have a friend who knows about 300 dead baby jokes. interestingly enough, despite the fact that i don't care for the bebes, i always have to tell him to stop because they're so gross. and really, babies are innocent of everything except for being human.

oh oh oh. we'll have to throw you a litter shower!

It wasnt completely off topic. I was relating the butchering of one species to the butchering of another. Someone said "fundie"...hardly. Just merely stating my thought on THAT particular subject that I brought up in the first place. I dont like seeing animals harmed in any way (except bugs and snakes)! haha...

Not worth bothering about isnt what I meant, although my comment did seem dismissive. But if grace affords you the chance to do something about such things, admist times where the world weighs so heavy on our shoulders, then good on ya.

Ooh! A litter shower!! I like that -and our friends would totally go for that (provided we give them enough booze at the thing)

Not sure I could handle the dead baby jokes - as much as I dislike them and wish I could see less of them in public I don't like hearing of harm coming to them. I guess I don't hate ALL babies - but the minute it starts crying or oozing something unpleasant get it the hell away from me.

Brandon! Human abortion has nothing to do with killing dogs. It just doesn't. Bringing it up off topic makes you seem like a **** stirrer trying to start a fight. I think we've had enough of those here lately, don't you?

Well, go ahead and use that term in, if you wish. Sort of an ugly, broad word for a statement I made that more applied to my own heart. I was, thinking outloud, as I am often wont to do on these forums. But a woman hater? I am, of course, not one. I harbor no disdain for women, nor have I ever. Like most men, I love my mother, and she also taught me how to respect them. You might even find me reading The Feminine Mystique one of these days.

Indeed. If you look at my post above, you'll see my explanation. No need for **** stirring in anyone's coffee cup. Thinking out loud gets me into trouble. Or is it thinking-as-I-type? That stream-of-consciousness kind of thing. DOH!

your forthright statement about abortion says more about your attitude towards women than this forced, flowery tripe does.

Who you calling thilly?

I know what she said, that's why I said 'you think'. It just seemed like weird reasoning to me.

But at least I know never to buy Sarah a baby. I can steal hers though, if she ever has one. Or trade it for my dog.

You assume too much. For you to tell me what MY thoughts mean, and to say they mean anything more says a lot about you. At any rate, who made you judge?

lol, I had that reasoning in response to someone who'd said something about dogs and cows and whatever else being equal. I can see that to some people they might be, but I don't consider them equal game for eating at all. The babies had nothing to do with it really, because most people don't eat babies. Except Deanna, Carrie, and I. But that's probably just because homos are evil and a threat to society as a whole.............

Yes, please don't buy me a baby. But if I ever am "gifted" with immaculate conception, I would be willing to accept a trade for a dog. Or a hamster. Or some doritos. Anything really. Hell, I might even give you $10 bucks just to take the damn thing away.

No seriously.. I have 2 godchildren, and I absolutely adore them. But, I didn't like being near them when they were babies, and it's good to give them back to their parents after, say, ten minutes. Unless we're playing Nintendo. Then they can stay as long as they want, 'cuz it makes me feel l33t to pwn 7 year olds at Mario Party. :P

jeez sarah - just when i really started to like you
lol

but respectfully i submit - babies that grow up to suck are generally tampered with by the same people who tamper with dogs that suck.

nothing will change your mind, as you stated, but open your mind to the thought of their being some cool babies. Yes they can suck the life force out of their parents and surrounding people but they also give great joy.

And just as you are so proud of your dog because you raised him to be a cool dog, many people are raising some cool kids. they are, trust me. lol

I have always liked mine with a side of pasta with a white sauce.

Equating rounding up full grown dogs to use as food and aborting a 3 month old fetus for reasons unclear doesn't seem off topic?
and using imagery such as "vacuuming" etc doesn't sound like you are pushing the discussion to an agenda item of yours?

are you saying that if someone is lucky enough to have time to care about dogs being butchered and eaten when other tough things are going on in the world then they are to be commended? I would think that people not making time to give a minimal effort (signing a petition!!!11) would be condemned for their inactivity on an issue they could directly affect.

I guess it sounds like you want to praise people for doing what should be done in the first place instead of calling out the folks who won't do anything.

I am just not sure i understand that last quoted line of yours.

Ooh, I heard an awful DB joke from my friend John, involving a blender and an erection. It made me cringe.
