Does anyone have any Tango In The Night demos/outtakes?

I just heard the Mirage demos and they were incredible!!! Many thx to the individual who posted all of the Mirage demos as it felt like brand new Fleetwood Mac music.

Thx again and I would be most appreciative to anybody who could post some Tango demos.

A friend of mine said he heard an alt version of the song Tango In the Night, which he said was awesome....it would be great if someone could post that song as well.

to tell the truth, I really dont see much difference except-in WTTR...S, they start with the chorus, and one of the lines may be different. and in WISYA, at the end Stevies voice is layered over Lindseys, but its not like that in the original. Still ok versions though.

I'd never heard Battle of the Dragon before. It's miles better than anything of Stevie's on the record. Why the band didn't select it is beyond comprehension.

not to burst anyone's bubble but that "battle of the dragon" is not a tango outtake/demo. this IS the final recorded version in 1986 as a solo track for the movie "american anthem." at first i wondered how the song already released in 1986 would be considered for the tango album. the song was most likely cut before she went on the road. maybe it was a consideration for the RAL album but definately not for tango. then again, maybe it WAS a consideration for tango but they nixed it. i recall a demo out there with tom petty (poor quality though).

Yeah, there's an old story behind Dragon. It was done with Petty for Rock a Little, but it leaked so it was shelved & then the film offer came & Stevie submitted it for that. As far as I know, Fleetwood never had anything to do with it.

Speaking of demo's being leaked, I'm curious to know your opinion on Stevie's demo's being stolen or what not. Whats your theory behind it all David?
