Good for her! She deserved it. But did they really think she was just going to get up there and not say something a little "off color". Don't they remember what she did when she didn't win.

Well, normal people know that but try explaining it to the Catholic League! I guess they just need to let us know that they still exist in all of their outdated, obsolete, holy glory.

Yay for "Dick in a Box." That was one of the funniest things I've ever seen on SNL.

I'm so tired of everyone being offended about everything all the time. Who the hell cares, seriously? People act like being offended will just absolutely kill them.

I hate political correctness.

People try to jam their morality down everybody's throat and use a sugar coating term like PC. It's a ****ing joke to see how far people have gotten with it. And what about dealing with real problems? Jesus sucking it is worse then circle jerks in the confessionals with the priests? It's mind blowing.

Oh, exactly.

Here's what really chaps my ass: we have freedom of speech and freedom of religion, supposedly... and it's illegal for the government to censor what is said on television or radio, because everyone will bitch about that... but it's perfectly acceptable - righteous even - for these groups to "force" them to censor her comments.

I knew the moment I read what she said that people would have a problem with it. And that's fine and dandy that they do. I'm sure my grandparents or mother would be kind of disgusted about saying "Jesus can suck it".. and they probably wouldn't like Kathy Griffin anymore.. but they aren't members of these extremist organizations. The most they'd do probably is pray for her.

Anyway, interest groups as a whole.. whether they're organizations I would have nothing to do with like the Catholic League or Family Values whatevers, or causes that reflect some of my similar values, Sierra Club, Peta, and to some extent the ACLU.. are really screwing things up for everyone. It's all just about money and - like you said - cramming values down everyone's throat, and it's disgusting. Everybody on every end of the spectrum is getting out of hand these days.

Haha, and I read somewhere that he wants to perform that at the Emmys this Sunday. Like I told my sister this afternoon, the day America airs a song like that during a show like that will be the day Bush becomes a democrat.

As for Kathy... I hope she sucks on that Emmy and chokes on it.

I'm already paying the price. I've been visiting the porcelain god more than I've been getting work done. I'm telling you, that stuff was off.
