I just bought a new couch set and most of my day is spent chasing the little buggers with the spray bottle. Before I had leather couches, and they seemed to keep those alone, but now at the age of 7 they have to be trained all over again. It's hell. I'm clipping their nails every few days for some damage control. I can teach them not to scratch the couch, but I can't teach them not to play and run around in the living room, which sometimes involves the couch also. So, bye bye nails.

Well, Jalla also catches moths and large beetles and then brings them inside the house to play with , preferably at 3 in the morning and right next to our bed ! It's either that or mice. I've become a real mouse-catcher since we've adopted him
The sparrow chicks was something else because he brought them home when they were still alive and we - or better my husband - had to "euthanise" them. We ended up bawling our eyes out, both of us, so i really hope that never happens again.

btw: my official name is Suze and i have never met another Suze before, so hiiiiiiii !!!!!!!!

Awww... I love it when cats stretch out like that!

Hello! That is funny cuz my nickname is Suzy but I just used Suze here as in "Sooz" not realizing it was another spelling of Suzy. But it's all good, I like SuzyQuzy too.

I definitely would have cried if Mufasa did that. There was a birds' nest right outside one of our windows under the awning and he loved watching the chicks. I was so grateful he couldn't get to them. But they would up dying anyway. I guess that is the brutality of nature, it's rough!

The moth was too much. It sounded like he had a fan in his mouth. He tortured the poor thing for a few minutes.

Default KIKI...fan of Lindsey Buckingham? Not so much...

Need some advice...

I have been taking KIKI to doggy daycare, but just when she gets over her cold she gets it again. I think it is due to the exposure to other dogs.

So, this morning I decide to let her stay home. I left her inside with the cats to play. I am afraid to have her outside all day unsupervised as I am still unsure what really happened to shelly (poisoned, bit by a spider...? that girl was just too healthy a frisbeegirl to just up and die of a heart attack...IMO) I laid down a puppy-wee pad. Rather than put the radio on, I put UTS on repeat (perhaps my first mistake?) as that was what I was listening to when I ran out the door.

Well, I came home to find that out of the 500 vinyls I have, she pulled out Rumours, Rock a Little (sealed), and Law & Order (signed) and shredded them all.

Now what? I don't know what to do. She has a bunch of toys she loves to play with and one cat loves to play with her. She did use the wee pad like a good little girl.

Do I continue to take her to daycare and have her continually infused with antibiotics, leave her outside to fend for herself (behind a fence) or let her find joy in being the little music critic while I weep?

I can't have any pets thanks to my asthma but I do love cats. I have a few feline friends. One is an orange cat that hangs around my work building and the other hangs on our porch. We think that the porch cat was abandoned by someone. It is very friendly and tries to sneak inside the door. We don't know what sex it is either.
Anyway here are some photos of my porch friend.

Well, Jag stays outside while I'm at work and I guess I'm lucky because he doesn't get in to anything if he's in the house. Only problem is when I get home he begs me to play ball every 5 minutes.

I am not sure what I am going to do...but I can not stand to lose another babe. I am very protective of her. For now, I guess I will put the scaitic nerve to test and move the vinyls to a room with a closed door.

I like cats. Jag thinks cats are the devil reincarnated. The neighborhood cats like to come right up to the screen door and terrorize Jag.

Between his need for a haircut and the cat causing his hair to stand up, Jag looked like he was fat in that picture. That is one cat I'm not fond of. He likes to use my front yard and flower beds as his litter box. Pretty soon I will start dumping it in my neighbors yard since it's their cat.

Wow he is stunning! That pic on the right is so beautiful. Even though he's a bit overexposed it makes him look angelic.

My neighbor has a golden retriever who Mufasa attacked last week. I don't know why but my neighbor came into my house with the dog. Mufasa jumped on her back. The poor dog ran away crying. She is fine though.

We had just gotten Mufy calmed down too. But he's pretty calm again. Although he snuck out Sun nite and went next door to find Emma to terrorize her. He is so smart it kills me. I was relieved because Emma was inside but then Dan was coming out and let her out. I'm yelling, put her in because Mufasa is outside. Then Mufy flies up the walkway after her and Dan closes his door just in time. My sweet cat is a dog stalker.
