I think the lack of responses to the OP says a lot about how people feel about this tour.

It's true. I was close for the mansfield show. Here are my memories: A roadie sprayed a ton of generic lysol on each mic during the stage set up, which just seemed weird to me. Stevie wore dark make up under her jawline to make it more pronounced, which was kind of sad. Her band was loud crappy, I thought. She could barely walk (whenever she dared to make a move the backstage guys in the wings were at full attention, waiting to grab her in case she needed help). She, and the whole band, were placed VERY upstage. In addition to her being so far away from the audience, she was also surrounded by GIANT vocal monitors (a ridiculous amount of them...like seven) so she never really connected with the audience. She was far away and in a cage of monitors. Of course when it came time to edge walk she needed help getting over them the way grandma needs help getting out of the LandRover. THen she needed help getting back to her mic to finish the song.

Her singing was crap. No vibrato at all, no air behind her voice at all... The sound mixer really tried to cover all that up with effects, which just added to the suckiness.

I went up to the stage for the edge walk and went to touch her hand, but then I freaked out and pulled it back cos she looked like a robot (no joke). I can't explain it but she looked so odd and sad. Her face was puffy like a doll's and her eyes were glazed and her smile was plastered on (I watched her face not change for the entire edge walk, she was really going through the motions it appeared to me) and her clothing looked silly and a little worn...I couldn't bear to be part of it and went back to my seat and bummed out.

I did enjoy hearing Landslide and a very tepid If Anyone Falls...but that's about all I enjoyed. The tour program wasn't so bad either.

Michael Anthony was a terrible musical director.

After that show, I never thought I'd hear her sing with authority again.

I think Timespace Tour was amazing tour. Well I was two in 1991 so I can´t be objective with my opinion about Klonopin, but I have heard and saw many performances during Stevie´s live and I´m rare fan of Klonopin era, especially Timespace. I love that three new songs, in the Timespace Tour setlist are my favourite songs, I like live shows from 1991 - I like both Stevie´s voice and music. I can bring in Edge of 17, Rooms On Fire, Stand Back, Stop Draggin, ...

In these days (I mean from Dance to nowadays) are Stevie´s shows very similar and in comparison to other Tours in late 80´s and early 90´s very boring. But for me! For guy, who watch and listen to shows on PC in Europe.

The only thing I liked about this tour was that she wore the "music video" dress for the first few songs in her set (ala I Can't Wait, Talk to Me). The big puffy one. Also, the set list was great. Id that that set list over the Crystal Visions set list.

Yes, my words. Stevie could change some songs, I´d like to hear songs from 85-94 in "new modern" style!

But I´ll be very happy if I can sometimes in the future visit some Stevie´s or FM concert. And I can´t be so fastidious.

I attended with a friend who had been a fairly casual Stevie fan ever since TITN. His last recollection of her was the hot Stevie from the "Seven Wonders" video. Needless to say, he was aghast to see her hobble on stage looking so pale and bloated. I only noticed that she looked really depressed, and that her face looked painted on like a porcelain doll. Setlist-wise, I was disappointed that there were no new Timespace songs featured, especially since the tour program teased us with the tracklisting of the forthcoming greatest hits collection (I so wanted to hear her sing the word "bitch" ). I didn't suspect that there was anything amiss chemically... I just thought her stiffness and flat affect were just part and parcel of growing fat and old. After all, she was an ancient 41 years old by that point. Still, I still thought this was better than the trainwreck I witnessed on the Rock a Little tour some years before.
