I'm somewhat darker than most Cherokees here in Oklahoma, which comes to say "I'm very pale...as are they".

I inherited the Irish part from Dad's side of the family, where I also inherited the Cherokee...Minus my Dad (His mother was Cherokee - Grandpa was disowned by his family for marrying someone outside the Irish Catholic faith) the rest of the family is as white as I am. Dad looked like a person who used a tanning booth way too much, he had a very red-skinned complection.

that settles it. The Cherokee tribe MUST have intermingled with Viking explorers way before Chris Columbus. The Roanokes (sp???) just got absorbed by the Cherokee Nation. Quite neighborly of them wouldnt ya say???

That girl ushered my whole raccoon family across the highway, using her body as a barrier between us and the cars! Big props to Sarah!" and there were some random ducklings, and a deer family who also said nice things, but I didn't write them down so would be uncomfortable quoting them. Lets just say - Bambi IV? His continued existence in this world is entirely because of you. And Thumper thanks you from the bottom of his heart, cause that is his best friend. Who would he go ice skating with if Bambi IV was not here?!?!?! Who???

The Vikings sailed into Oklahoma long before the Spainards ever did, so that is possible.

Btw, according to my Dad's family geneaology we are direct descendants of Erik the Red and the Queen of Prussia...So there's some Viking blood in there somewhere.
