In someways I consider the Walter Egan song o Magnet & Steel to almost be a Fleetwood Mac song...a close cousin perhaps. Great harmonies from Stevie, Lindsey's production...and is Mick playing on it? The whole song embodies many of Fleetwood Mac's style and quality.

You make a good point here. But still, given all the various combinations/phases of the band, what Fleetwood Mac represents to people is very varied.


There are specific generations of fans who still lament that the band isn't truly Fleetwood Mac since...

... Peter Green left.
... Jeremy Spencer left.
... Bob Welch left.
... Christine left.

That's why I can't understand "fans" that bitch about Christine's absence on Say You Will. It's a different band now, as is the natural history of Fleetwood Mac's evolution. But the fact is, the core continuity and soul of the band are Mick and John.

As much as this list looks like.. I have so much more that I just haven't detailed. I also have the vintage posters, tourbooks, merchandise, 45s, etc. My whole thing is the 33RPM albums, though.. I've got probably 100 of them counting multiple copies, because I'm trying to get extremely good/mint condition albums and covers to frame and hang up in my music room.
