Working in the education field, I wish I could say I am surprised
I teach at the college level and it is absolutely shocking how little these kids know about life in general. One kid I had in class didn't understand how to calculate a percentage or use decimal points! Now this "teen queen" girl, she sounds like someone coached her to say specific things regardless of what the question was like "I personally believe that US/Americans are unable to do so . . ." and then she is lost from that point on. What I don't understand is how the hell South Africa had anything to do with this question? I mean, how do you make that kind of leap?
