Yeah it has its downsides though. They'll only funnel so much money into my obsession.

And I always had Dreams and Rhiannon on my computer, just because EVERYONE has those two songs on their computer, and never really gave them anymore thought. Then one day, I was in my middle-school Running Coach's car, and Edge of Seventeen came on. I remebered the song, and REALLY liked the woman's voice. Went home, looked it up, found out it was Stevie Nicks, who is also in a band called Fleetwood Mac. So, at that point I knew more about Rhiannon and Dreams, went and downloaded TISL, loved it, and it took off from there.

At least your Mom can tolerate Stevie. My Dad doesn't mind them, but doesn't understand how I think they're so amazing.

tolerate her? barely. my mom thinks she sounds like a goat [thanks south park...]
my dad is the same way, he likes lindseys guitar playing-when i told him i was going to see linds, he was like 'oh really, hes an amazing guitarest'-but likes iorn maiden, the beatles, and other random stuff i really dont like...a lot more, my mom hates fm in general though, quote my mom when gypsy came on the radio two nights ago 'ew, its fleetwood crap...' and i start singing loud an obnoxiously to tick her off...

Yeah, I think all fans love it at first and then it eventually gets tired. I love it, but I prefer the Demo #7 and really think it would've fit better on BD.

My mom appreciates that Stevie has a unique voice, and that no one will ever sound like her. When she comes in my room and bothers me, I'll put on Stevie and she'll immediately leave the room. My Dad hasn't seen Lindsey really do anything spectacular, so he's really indifferent to the entire band.

Hello, my name is Maria! I am soon to be 30, a mother of an 8 year old, Sara, and stepmother of a 15 year old, Samantha, and these two kids are my life. We have 2 dogs, Bloo, a chihuahua, and Holly, a standard poodle. I'm also an office flunkie, but I'm currently taking a college class here and there to hopefully earn my associates in nursing. I love the outdoors and the water.

And I'm hungry as hell...

My name is Ryan and I've already posted way too much personal information on the Ledge. I enjoy looking for Nanos on bar floors.

I couldn't imagine who Sara is named after. And here's a stupid chihuahua joke.

"What are the two sadest breeds of dog?"

"Chi-wah-wah and the Melan Collie." Cracks me up everytime.

nice joke Liam....

my dad just knows FM cause he was 15 when Rumours came out, and all the seniors wanted Dont Stop/GOYW as their graduation song [so do i ], and wanted thier prom to be all FM/debbie boone/Eagles...that stuff. but he actually knows the members names, so thats cool. my mom makes fun of Lindsey all the time....and Stevie...but not the others. [she mostly makes fun of Lindsey cause I like him....and she always makes fun of guys i 'like'..she really acts her age....]

but yes. parents are wonderful
