Just wondering.
It's the right thing to do.

As if anybody really feels they're owed that. The people who've known David as an on-line friend and have valued his input on the various forums over the years are just happy to know that he's still alive and posting. Just to have that inherently interesting wit, knowledge, and perspective back makes this board a significantly better place.

I'm not saying david did anything wrong, by any means. people can do what they want. I was just saying steve was wrong about the people who were friends with him just being happy he was back when that's not the case. When someone, who you thought was your friend drops off the face of the earth for no apparent reason. Doesnt' answer your emails, or calls when the only thing you want is to make sure they are okay, no, you don't owe them anything. but it would be nice.

awwww...I know I just hate it. For myself even. There are people that i consider REALLY good friends, and would be devastated if just one day they stopped talking to me and I didn't know why. I'm not the kind of person who just has people hanging around that I don't care about. I don't work like that

agreed. i guess we all have to have different expectations when it comes to internet friends, but it really does suck when someone you've known for years and years pulls something ****ty like that. (fyi, i'm not talking about myself here, just in general)

you know. even tho you dont apparently like me, I think you are a kick in the pants and would love to get to know you. if you are grieving the loss of a friend. I feel for you. But--you are such a neat person, I know you will fill that gap in no time. (so shut up already! just kidding!)

anyway, michelle, look in the mirror. please appreciate yourself.
