This is a house she has had since 1981? Then why does the Arizona Living article from 1983 say she sold a Scottsdale house?

Quote:
"Why did you sell your Scottsdale home?

Because I was never there. And you know what it's like to air condition a big house there. I kept it for a long time and when I went there it was wonderful. I wrote "Bella Donna," "Edge of Seventeen" and several of my most favorite songs in that living room. So it was very creative for me, going to Phoenix, but why have a beautiful home there when you have to be in Los Angeles all the time? And then I'd go home for one day and my parents would be kind of down if I didn't come to see them, so it just didn't work out very well."
I had also not heard anything about Chris and Lori divorcing. Was there some article on this?

P.S. It would be funny to make a compendium of all the times throughout the decade when she stated her intention to make the Rhiannon movie, autobiography, coffee table book, children's book, etc. I have a biography of Petula Clark that was published in like 1983, and at the end of it, the book informs the reader of Petula's intention to create an original musical on Broadway. Well, Saints preserve us, Petula actually did this a few years later! If only Stevie had actions to go along with her words.

I'm doing well. One of the realtors I work with (I'm a mortgage broker, I don't know if you know, that's why I was teasing you) showed our client 47 properties. She backed out of two contracts in the last month, one well past the inspection objection. It seems like lately, there have been a lot of kooky buyers in this market. How is the market in LA these days? LA doesn't seem like it would be a bubble market to me. Here, it all depends on what area you live in (in the metro area). There are certain areas that are holding their own and appreciating and other areas where the foreclosure rate is going through the roof. Also, I run into a lot of prospective refi clients who don't have enough equity in their homes to do anything about it.
Anyway, I digress. I hope everything is going well with you and your family. Also, it's pretty smart of you to do the gift basket business. As we both know, the holidays are the slowest for real estate.

Very true. I just listed and sold a property in Studio City. It is a expensive area..close to CBS & Universal. Both businesses are doing really well. I am lucky - I have a good balance for both businesses. I am having a blast too.
I just listed a 2 Million Tuscanny Estate in Studio City. Who knew we are in the same biz pretty much.

me too!

it's so funny because my taste=Stevie's taste so even though I may decorate my house and everything around me similar to Stevie and most people think it's out of pure obsession, it's really coincidence.

Can anyone refresh me on which of her demos are part of the Rhiannon story. I know Three Birds of Rhiannon and Forest of the Black Roses and of course Rhiannon, but I know there's more.

I don't think there was ever an article, but several fans who met Lori & Waddy & some other band members in Vegas 12/05 (06?) heard about it at that time. Not sure if they were just separated at the time, or if they've divorced since, or what. But they apparently are no longer together.

Dude, that is what she is downsizing. Moving to a rock and roll penthouse in Santa Monica. From the place she just bought two years ago, to UPSIZE.
