Default Lindsey jr's FM unplugged setlist

I don't know why this great band hasn't done a MTV-Unplugged show yet, so this is my setlist:

Big love
Gold dust woman
Thrown down
Angel
New song: LB
Say goodbye
Go insane
New song: SN
Gypsy
Silver springs
Rhiannon
I don't want to know
World turning
Sara
I'm so afraid
Lanslide
Tusk
Go your own way

this is so weird that you would mention this...I had a dream last night that the band (Christine included) were doing an acoustic version of something...I think it was 'Book of Love'...in my bedroom! and I remember thinking in the dream how awesome it sounded acoustic. I havent had a weird dream in a while so that one was worth it!

Feel free to post your own! I made this setlist without many Christine songs, because she'll never come back I think.

Others that could be played: Goodbye baby, crystal, never going back again, monday morning.

I had this idea because LB is actually a great acoustic guitarist AND I DEMAND THROWN DOWN LIVE!!!!

true dat

I really hope Chris comes back though. hell Ill make a set list [i wont add in Chris though]

Go Insane [cause its amazing]
Big Love
Lanslide
Thrown Down [yes its is the best song off of SYW, and idk why they didnt do this live instead of SB]
Gypsy
Never Going Back Again
Im So Afraid
Sisters of the Moon
Save Me a Place [better arrangement would make me like this song soo much more]
Gold Dust Woman
Goodbye Baby
Bleed To Love Her
Welcome to the Room....Sara
Hold Me [just Lindsey]

not in that order, but over all those are the songs I think would work

If I have to hear Big Love acoustically again on another tour or whatever I'm gonna find some serious medication.. Its bending my head now. Its the only song I want to hear live played as it was performed on Tango In The Night..

The Chain acoustically would work pretty well. If anybody heard the work Steve Stevens did on the acoustic version of "Rebel Yell" I think LB could achieve a similar vibe there.

Hold Me slowed down and stripped back acoustically would be great but not without Chris.

Steve is just amazing, and there isnt much more you can say... simply amazing! but I dont think I see lindsey playing acoustic with the same fury... I dunno why

meh, Hold Me sucked live, they're probably gunshy of it. it's hard to imagine it stripped in an acoustic guitar type way, but it would be nice to hear piano-heavy.

i'm cracking up at lindsey "actually" being a great acoustic guitarist and not being able to play acoustic with the same "fury". he put 100% into his acoustic playing during the UTS shows, and it was amazing.

my unplugged songs, pretending that chris came back for just one tv special:

save me a place - a rearrangment of this song would be blasphemy in the name of tusk
storms
honey hi
don't let me down again - i think this would sound very cool with the way lb's picking these days
crystal
oh daddy
i don't want to know
eyes of the world
love in store
the chain
silver springs
say goodbye - no stevie
goodbye baby
songbird

i could name more and more, but i'm trying to imagine what they'd sound like acoustically, and there are lots that i just don't think would translate well.

Excellent call My favourite version of that is the GOS one before they opened it up to put Nicks on it. I wish the Soundstage version hadn't got her on it.

I think that one could sound suspiciously like "Stephanie" once acoustified

I like the rest of your list as well. Oh Daddy would be an essential on my list, as would Storms and Save Me A Place (in all its Tusk-ian glory )

I'll maybe sit down for a while tomorrow and write my own list.

Holy crap. I never thought of it like that. But yes, I think you may be on to something there, Peestie.

And ditto on the soundstage.. I mean, it was cool of her to come around and all, but, meh. (The Frozen Love snippet was cute, though.)
