Exactly why I think she doesn't wear contacts. And wears glasses every time she has to read. I think it's cute.

I am still dying over her moaning in this song. It sounds like ****.
I was almost on the floor when I was listening to that. Sounds... scary.

I love it when VC says "Debbie Downer"

I also love the glasses somment.

As for the song, I am not wild about VC - but, she is talented and La Nicks adds to the song. I can't wait for the released version.

It reminds me of the moans she used to do in the 70's a la Green M. in like 1975.

Wait, did I miss something? Is Stevie actually on the recorded version? I thought Vanessa said Stevie just learned the song this past weekend. How could she be on the recorded version?

I think VC mentioned that Stevie was at the studio "a couple of weeks ago" and put on some "gorgeous harmonies". Ms. Carlton is certainly working her way through the group... first Lindsey, now Stevie.

Ok, I reread the thread and Sparky posted that Vanessa joked that Stevie tossed the cd and her ipod into the pool. The cd. So, if Stevie actually sang on the cd, she would know some of the words I would think. I am not getting why people think she is on the recorded version. Stevie showed up at gigs and sang with Sheryl Crow on songs, and was not on the recorded version of them.

To me it sounded like she was really going to be on the new album, but then again I have no idea when that thing is supposed to be released. If Stevie only laid down harmonies a couple of weeks ago, it can't be due any time soon. Right?

*edit: Okay, due for release October 9, 2007. I suppose that's doable then.

When she said that i though she was going to come out too at first definetly i am sure she will record it with her in the studio. But definetly show rocked I did enjoy vanessa too as I do Stevie and did see her at tweeter with chris and chris put on a great show too. I hope she comes around again does a second leg fall tour.

Ok, good, then I am excited. Anything new is good at this point. I certainly hope her harmonies sound better than this live version. How amusing is it that Stevie is singing on a song called "The One". First she does "You're Not the One", now, "The One". Bwhhha.

Yea, Vanessa is certainly a friend of the family.

I think it's great that Vanessa and Stevie are in the studio recording together. Stevie's been in the studio quite a bit lately...remember that great N.O. demo she has been talking about. I'm sure she has something up her sleeve...i hope she's finally opened that dusty old demo trunk.

Heh. That hadn't even occured to me. Damnit, she's inconsistent in every sense of the word.
