I started noticing a pronounced lack of respect from him towards the board members months ago. A perfect example - while I admit it's a completely minor thing - is that the smiley-faces there were changed from really cool ones to totally sucky ones without telling anyone why. He was repeatedly asked why by several people and yet totally ignored these reasonable requests for information, some of which, I believe, were from supporting board members. While he might have been busy at that time or had other things to deal with, this, I feel, is a typical example of the lack of respect that had been developing between the Wizard and certain board members. Respect has to be earned. What he doesn't say in his post is that there had been mounting criticisms for months which had not been properly addressed, and yes I'll say it - no offense to anyone, but favoritism shown by the board moderators towards certain board members and discrimination against others. Things were starting to get kind of random - some were banned for certain offenses while others weren't. I'm not making accusations, I'm just trying to give my take on what I see as a situation that developed for months and "snowballed" over time. It seems clear that the Wizard has felt disrespected through all of this and that his feelings have been hurt. But my honest opinion is that (as the Wizard alluded to today), there was a developing lack of respect from the Wizard to the members, also. My feeling, personally, is that if he no longer enjoys this or doesn't feel appreciated, then rather than close the board down he should "hand the reigns over" to someone for whom it will continue to be fun. But - And I can't believe I'm saying this here - IT IS ULTIMATELY HIS BOARD. It's his right to close it if he so chooses. But I hope he won't do that. I hope that he can learn from this experience (and apply the lessons which he should have learned here to Real Life) and move forward. Sometimes it helps to get some distance from things - it IS a game!   And perhaps we all need to remember that Stevie and Fleetwood Mac fans - one would hope - are people who are willing to forgive and forget, and to see and emphasize the positive in people, and help them exorcise their "little demons" through constructive criticism rather than personal attacks or being mean.In the rest of his post he goes on to express his personal anger towards specific members of the board whom he banned. He basically says he's sickened at the reaction he's had on the board and at the Ledge. Says it's not fair that his account here was deleted, attacks TimelessBarbara for being a phony and a hypocrite because she always hated The Ledge before, tells Ryan he should be ashamed, says that he's been unhappy with the direction the board has been going for ages and Kristin told him to be tougher with offenders and says he is only keeping the board going now out of selfless duty to the remaining posters etc, etc...

I just find it odd that he moves all posts with a hint of controversy or questioning of his policies and either deletes the posts or hides it from anyone who is not a member. The issues don't go away just because you choose to hide or ignore them.
He mentioned in his FAQ that he hasn't posted here in a long time but the last time I remember him posting on the Ledge was to attack a member he had recently banned from his own board. Instead of telling other people to grow up he probably should use that energy to grow up himself.
