The thing is the City of Atlanta runs it, which means it has been neglected for a decade or longer. The neighborhood HATES it because of the traffic, though the vast majority of people moved there knowing it was there and what goes on. Finally, the security staff is volunteer, so they could give shiitte and IMO enjoy their little pseudo power trip.

HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT.

And, the thing is, with a little effort by the city and a little bending by the neighborhood association, it could be one of the nicer venues in the South as it is in the middle of the city in a lovely park.
