I swear you have the most gorgous hair!! I've been trying to grow mine for 6 years and it's hardly beyond my shoulders!

Thanks hon. That's an old picture though. I cut a lot of it off. I loved my hair, but someone told me it was like I was stuck in a certin part of my life, and that's all I needed to hear to make a change. I love my hair the way it is now too.

Um, Michelle, not to be a know it all (*snicker*, JK, I love to do that, only I call it "helpful") if you put your hair in a braid at night before you go to bed, it will "grow faster". No, it doesn't actually grow faster, but a ton of your hair breaks off while you are sleeping, and keeping it in a braid minimizes that breakage a lot. Especially if you are the type to get your hair trimmed all the time because you think it has split ends. Your hair will split much less. Doing the braid has worked for me a few different times, and whoever I know that did it. My hair is hella thin and weak and breaky, so if mine can grow doing the braid...

Most people I know, including myself, have trouble making it grow past the bra strap. Mine is longer than that, now. Naturally I also attribute some of that to coconut oil...

One time I was really diligent about braiding my hair at night, and it totally grew down to my waist.

^^^god i may try that, but i don't think I could get used to having something in my hair at night to be honest. But i have heard that before. I tend to go get my hair trimmed only when it won't hold a curl anymore. or I can't run a brush through it because of the split ends

so sometimes I go a few months or more. It's weird-when i go they always tell me it looks healthy, but I cant' stand it

^^Yah, maybe try a few nights a week until you are used to your hair not being a loose tangly mess around your head when you sleep.

I like when it is in a braid - it isn't tight and uncomfortable like a ponytail, and I also don't wake up in Tangle-Headville.
I get a trim every five months or so, barely, but my hair always looks like it has split ends no matter what, whereas your hair is smooth and cool.

That's right, Maria...your haircut. I forgot. Even though it looks really good. Now I remember. Your face is so cute, you could probably have any hair.

But I think your new cut draws more attention to your face, which is good.
