Exactly. He is playing his cards smart. The majority of Americans are against gay marriage, and he isn't taking the loser position. With the help of his wife, he is looking more and more like a good option as Hillary's Vice President. The VP spot is something Barack Obama should be coveting; I just hope he doesn't think he is too good for that.

Good for you. I watched this entire show and was amazed at how much she just avoided answering anything with any substance. Matthews seemed genuinely frustrated by her, though it was funny when he called her a "skinny WASP." She seems to take zero responsibility for what she spouts, only made more scary by the Kool-Aid crowd behind her. God, it pisses me off just thinking about it.

And frankly, this is the first thing I've heard about Edwards (either of them) that now makes me want to listen a little harder. Good for them, too.

I'm sure you're right. I guess this is the first time I ever watched her at any length...I find it unbelievable that people applaud this! "Yeah Ann! She's so right!"

In fact watching her I decided we need a mean liberal commentator. Someone just as willing to make their own crap up as she is. Somone who'll throw a freakin' sandwich at her and say, "Maybe you wouldn't be so miserable if you ate something!"

Yeah, he usually does better than this. I really think he was just overwhelmed by her complete lack of responsibility. I mean, how do you argue with someone who still says that Saddam was working with bin Laden? Didn't the 9-11 Commission answer this? You know, the one put together by the Bush administration? Why are conservatives arguing with Bush on this?
