I thought the boots were the coolest thing I'd ever seen paired up with her hippie gypsy witch look! I must have watched it 30 times that month~ each time it was on! My parents thought I was nuts! My first album ever was WH shortly after and that was the end of it for me! So its been about 24 years. I've been looking for Fritz stuff for many years and yes thanks to the computer rare stuff is all more accessible! I just got a computer last year and just got on the internet this year so I've been out of the loop the past ten years! I also went through a divorce after having 3 children so I drifted away from mad Stevie collecting for awhile~ but now that I've been on the computer lately, the fun is starting all over again for me! I'm so glad you're being so kind as to share something w/ me that I've been looking for for many years~ thanks again~whenever you get the chance!

That's what captovated me into fandom as well. I was in Destin at the time, so I will always have such strong memories of that.

Buckingham Nicks Live zip:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=GKMGRPNM

Notes: This is a large zip file so the download could take a while. Some of these tracks are from the Tuscaloosa, Alabama show. There are also some other live tracks. I'm not sure where those are from as there are two Rhiannon's, I believe. The tracks aren't numbered (sorry, that's the way I got them) but if you listen to the show a few times, you can figure out how to sequence it. Personal favorites of this set: Stevie rocking out at the end of Long Distance Winner and singing part of All The Beautiful Worlds in Telephone Line. Enjoy!

oh, and my name is christine btw

i guess my stevie story is that my mom is a classic rock freak, and one day GOYW [not a stevie song though] came on the radio, and i just loved it. she meracoulously had a FM tape. so i gave it a listen. I really enjoyd all of the tracks off of it [not tusk so much at first, but it grew on me ]. FM has been my favorite band ever since, and Steve and co. solo just kindof came naturally. I always new about the songs though, when I was younger [about 10] whenever Rhiannon came on I would always try to sing along to it, and my mom always said stuff to me lol], I've been a die hard fan for 10 months basically but you could say i did always like stevies songs...dreams and rhiannon...

Thanks for uploading these songs. I'm just getting to hear them for the first time, and The Power reminds me a lot of The Mamas & The Papas. Great stuff!!

You have to unzip it first and then save the mp.3's to a new file.

Default Not a Stevie request(or demo), but....

I have a Fleetwood Mac request and didn't think it would probably warrent a new topic. After hearing the new Stand Back remixes, one of my favorites is the Dave Aude mix, I LOVE it! I seem to remember he did a remix for FM's Go Your Own Way and after hearing the great job he did with SB, I REALLY wanna hear GYOW. Could someone please post it? Thanks!

Okay I hate to sound so dumb but after I saved it I went to open it and it asked me which program to run it by~ I had no idea so I picked windows media player and it said I couldn't do this cause it was to long or something~I don't have a MP3 player~ nor do I know much about those~ do I need one to listen to BN live? Or did I just pick the wrong program to open it buy? I have no idea! Now I have to delete the file cause its stuck with Win media player and then I'll have to download it again but I still don't know which progam to open it with or how to unzip it! Sorry to be such a pain~ I'm lost !!!

ok i had the same problem. what i did was-
i unziped the file
then i dragged these files into a whole different folder. [not itunes/the program you want to open them with].
then drag them into the program
they should open.

if they dont i dont know what else to say
you do not need an Mp3 player. i use itunes. i just drag the music into it.

i hope that helps you belladonnadream

Question

Thank you but how do you unzip it? I keep deleting the file and redownloading it but it comes up with the picture icon of media player and when I click on it it says it won't play on this program? How do I get the programs to pick from to open it to come up again? Thanks

Keeping in mind that I am the one who Computers for Dummies was written for, here's how I do it. Double click on the zipped file - you should now see on the screen all of the individual files contained in the zipped file. At the top left of the screen you should see a box that says 'Folder Tasks' and in that box it reads 'extract all files'. Click on that. A new box should appear entitled 'Extraction Wizard'. Follow those steps and your files should be extracted and ready to listen to or burn. Hope this helps!
