hi everyone,
omg what a concert!!! i've been to quite a few stevie/mac concerts..and i must say i think this was the best one yet! Stevie was on absolute fire! I saw her in texas last week and tonite was EVEN better!!! well minus the few moments after a bug flew in her mouth! lol poor thing she said "i just swallowed a michigan mosquito!!!" as she was coughing...
anyway we also had a special treat of having Kid rock assist her banging on the tamborine during rock n roll! tonite was just great all around...well minus the a$$hole behind me who yelled at me to sit down....while the 100's of others infront of me were standing...so i just NOT so politely told him where to go...hehehe

NICE! My buddy was there tonight too. Hope she had a good time, and was as lucky as you to score some kick ass pics. Man, all around tonight are great concert shots. Thank you so much for posting. When I see shots like this, I get all meloncholy for another show. Dumb huh??? It's like "oh yea, this is during that part" etc. Sigh....thank goodness for SLO comin up next month...hopefully then I can return the pic favor!!!!

I love the photos. Stevie looks gorgeous and so very happy!!! I love it that Kid Rock sang with her too. LOL

Are you sure she was coughing because she swallowed a mosquito and not because of that disgusting cigar Kid Rock is smoking?

Thanks for sharing, and I'm glad you had a great time at the concert. In regard to the puke who yelled at you to sit down, there's always got to be someone who has a stick up their a$$ and tries to ruin it for others. I've had that happen more than once at Stevie/FM concerts....I did the same thing as you.....I one time told the chick behind me that "I paid $500 for the seat and there wasn't a chance in hell I was going to sit".....if she didn't like it, she could "just scoot her a$$ over or leave!"

Anyway, good for you for not putting up being b!tched at.........

I've got some photos to add in a little bit. As far as the coughing, it happened way before Kid Rock. She said she swallowed a bug but I think she was kind of hoarse and using that as an excuse. Her band intro was really short and she was drinking a lot of water and appeared to be coughing between her parts. But she still sounded great and finished with no problem, so maybe she did swallow a bug.

As for Kid, the smoke from his nasty ass cigar was blowing right in her face whild she sang RnR. He did not sing, just played the tambo. And yes, she does need to ditch the hat. She spent the whole song holding it on her head.

I had second row and the seats and show were great!!

I wish she would have told him to stop blowing smoke in her face, the way she did to that guy on the SYW tour.

I agree about the hat, it is so annoying. Instead of just letting totally loose and rocking out, alah DCAHNM last year, she spends wayyy too much time holding that thing on her head. It looks cute, so she could walk out wearing it and then toss it when the song starts. Sort of like the G @ B tambo toss.

I think she should ditch the feathers and tie a long ribbon around it ala the old days. Maybe it would stay on a bit better then! Not that feathers weight much but they are quite large. I agree about her constant holding on to it. It becomes very distracting after a while.
