Oh for f*ck's sake!

I'm sure she'll go to Club Fed, pay her nightly rate and serve the rest of her 23 days in peace.

Long before my mom and stepdad were married, he was sentenced to 60 days for violating his probation which he was sentenced to after getting his first and only DUI. That was county jail, where all the meth cookers and crazy people were, so stop making it sound like she got a raw deal.

She was driving in a car while an affidavit signed BY HER saying she was not allowed to drive sat in her glove compartment. Not only is she deserving, she deserves a kick in the head for being retarded.

BTW - where can I find the specific laws/sentencing for my county? Are they posted somewhere online?
I think www.foxnews.com and www.cnn.com have links - but I am getting my information from Greta and the other legal pundits, who generally are very accurate.

As for the two years, that likely never happens.

In the end, the public rarely realizes that if we actually put people in jail according to their sentences, we would have to triple our jail space to the tune of billions of dollars. So, as awful as it is, we as a society and through the sheriffs are faced with the choice of putting La Hilton in the slammer or using that space for a rapist. I used to see this shiitte every day - so I am, I think, numb to it.

to the first part, I agree with what skcin said, and that she could have gotten a worse sentence. so its not like that she has to go a year without shopping. that wolud be torture to the poor girl.

and I think that she should just suck it up. celebrities do not deserve special treatment, I don't care. this sentencing is what makes our justice system seem like ****. and if they do this for every celeb who this happens to, then shame on america [yeah i said it]

the good news is-if she serves her whole sentence-shell still be in jail by my birthday! oh what a birthday it will be lol

No, she is in the county jail. They put her in solitary confinement because of the potential liability - that and, IMO, the fact that the sheriff likely does not want La Hilton blabbing about the crooked nature of almost all prison systems.

As for Paris - I could care a less for her, but the judge treated her far worse than any other person in the same situation. If you think otherwise, let's see the other 45 day sentences.

But, people hate her and want the law applied differently to her based on that. To me, that is pathetic.
why is it laughable, hypocritical and/or pathetic to discuss the fact that Paris seems to get special treatment. man, I'm confused. no one has said they fault her for attempting to get out of her sentencing. the problem is that she did just that...or, almost did. no one I know would do any different than she did, but that wasn't the point.

how are people wanting the law applied differently to her? how did the judge treat her far worse than anyone else who would've violated probation? I, personally, have seen this happen more times that I can count and I worked directly in the office with the probation officer and saw many escorted directly to jail with my own eyes...maybe your legal experience in GA is different than mine though. her sentence is what it is. she should serve it. and apparently, the judge thinks she should too.

Sure...today she is in county jail. Judging by how many times her sentence has been modified, I doubt this is the end of it.

Let's see, whom do we release - La Hilton or the rapist....

Hmmm.....

Easy, you release the rapist, because if the rapist is around La Hilton long enough he would develop "a rash" (aka "A medical problem that would require treatment") that would require his immediate release

She was treated harsher by the judge in that no one gets the 45 days, at least according to every pundit I heard

sisters, y/y??

i'm agreeing with everyone on sending her ass back to jail is best. even though they are making an example out of her, no one else would get out of it, why should she? Even though it interferes with her nail appointments.

I could care less about Paris and how much or little time she gets. The great part about all of this is the media circus surrounding it. When all of this was going down this morning every news channel including CNN, MCNBC, FOX and others were covering it. When the Defense Secretary was announcing that Pace was resigning as Head of the Joint Chiefs you know that none of the channels wanted to switch to that story and away from the Paris circus.

I was on my way to a meeting when the rep from the City Attorneys office came on the radio in LA to announce the judges decision. There was a loud and prolonged cry of NOOOOOOOOOO! from someone standing near him. It was hilarious I know it was all in jest but it sure put the whole thing in to perspective.

OMG, what if Paris starts a riot? She'd be the criminal world's new poster girl. "My sentence isn't fair!" "Hey, mine neither!" "You too?"
