Does anyone know if Stevie is having an opening act for her non Chris Issak Shows?

Didn't she open for some of Stevie's 2005 shows? Where was this mentioned? Just hoping it is true as I don't want some unknown gang opening for her. Journey did that one year and I can't remeber who the guy with the harmonica and acoustic was. Just bad stuff. So I hope she has someone decent open for her on the Issak less shows which CT is one of them.

Got Google? Here's one article - and there's another mentioning Vanessa opening at the Borgata show in AC too.

June 30 — The very next night, Stevie Nicks returns to Montage without her mates from Fleetwood Mac, who played the amphitheater in 2004. She’ll be mixing the classic Mac tunes that made her famous — “Rhinannon,” “Gold Dust Woman,” “Landslide” — with solo hits like “Edge of Seventeen” and “Stand Back.”

Opening for Ms. Nicks is piano-playing Milford native Vanessa Carlton, who had a huge pop hit a few years back with “A Thousand Miles.”

Vanessa opened last time Stevie was in Concord, CA...I really like her. She even mentions Stevie when they did an episode of MTV cribs on her.

Holy ****, Stevie's OCD has gotten so bad that she now refuses to let the songs BEFORE she goes on change, by refusing to let VC go. I bet she tells VC not to do any songs different then she did in 05

What about the Verona, NY show? I'm going to this on 6/26 and the box Office at the casino said there was no opening act~ nothing's listed on the tickets either. Its a tiny place, holds 5,000 ~ do you think there's a possibility that there is no opener or do you think they just didn't know at the time that the tickets were sold? Maybe VC will show. I've never been to a show w/ no opening act! Maybe Stevie could sing longer!* wink*

The Mohegan Sun website now lists "Stevie Nicks with special guest Vanessa Carlton" for the July 1 show.
