So, yes, if it's going to be a farewell tour (and really, farewell is farewell. Hear that, Cher? Eagles?) they'll probably bring in enough dough, eh.. people.
agreed. and i think that although it will be much to mick and john's shagrin, that will be the time for them to give it one more go around and pack it in -- for good -- unlike the eagles. and cher. cause really, we don't need to say goodbye six times.

i'd like to say that has a snowballs chance in hell of occuring, but honestly, you know as well as i do that it will be rumours part -- well, whatever at this point. i'm doubting the band will play more of their lesser known hits [probably because of stevie and her inability to try things outside of her comfort zone] so it pretty much would be the same songs from the syw tour, minus those that appeared on syw with maybe a few of the generic additions we'd expect.

i hope i'm wrong but like you, i'll go -- cause its been this long -- mind as well see it through til' the end.

I think she likes doing new or obscure songs -- Of the tours since 1997, she has done many.

She will never drop the standards though. I get that many think that is the same as cra**ing all over them, but it is the way it is. I think it also is a little self centered as many people who could also be called loyal fans like to hear those songs. So, I think she tries for a balance.

I'm willing to call bull**** on that. With Christine gone they needed setlist fillers and seeing they were out of popular Stevie Nicks Mac tunes I bet Lindsey thought the only song she could still pull off with her current range was BC. If you ask me it was more a case of 'you're doing this song' instead of 'we'll finally let you do this song'.

which is why in 2003-2004 on tour to support syw, running through the garden and destiny rules were dropped. i saw destiny rules in person and i have to say, she sang it well so the excuse often used of "it doesn't translate well to stage" is a bunch of bs. she's notorious for allowing her nerves to get the best of her.

And, I saw it as as well and people got up to go to the bathroom during it - and it got polite applause

Note - I agree she should have done more cool stuff. But, to imply she did none then or since then is inaccurate, with the exception of this current tour, which is just inexcusable IMO.

Well, let's see - of the FM hits/singles - she could have chosen Sara, SOTM, or Seven Wonders But, she chose BC. Thus, I think she was elated to do it and that elation showed every night when she sang it pretty much to perfection.

Interestingly, LB drops DLMDA after Madison and no one says a thing

True - but she had the sand to do it.

I mean, not everyone had to go to the bathroom all of the time and they certainly took their breaks during Come

but think of everything else he did -- and continues to do even on this solo tour! he puts la nicks to shame in not being afraid to try things.

Kind of like what people did during "Landslide" in 1975...and now, look, it stayed in the set and people love it...other artists even COVER it.

Keep the new material IN the set, it will grow on people. If they'd just added two or three Rumours songs and dropped them one by one during that tour, it wouldn't have sold diddley-squat. They bitch about how an album tanks, but then they don't add enough new songs, or more accurately, KEEP enough new songs, in the set of the tour that they're supposed doing to PROMOTE the new album to actually make a difference in album sales. Nope, they keep shoving f***ing Rumours down our throats for the 1,000th time. I get it, there might be 100 first-time concert goers at each 20,000 seat venue, so they'll sell 40 more copies of Rumours at the expense of maybe selling 5,000 more copies of whatever their latest album is within a week after the show. That is just insanely idiotic marketing.
