Default What Meets Your Qualification of "Good" Seats

So it seems like a lot of people here have awesome luck with tickets and land some super close seats. I was just wondering what you all considered to be "good" seats.

For the show that my family is going to, we have like 16th row. I think those are alright, but it's frustrating because about an hour later I looked and there was 10th row more toward the center, and those same seats were even popping up for the general public onsale......

Anywho, what do you all consider "Good Seats"

Much Love,
Ethan

Once you get in the front row it's hard to go back! I hate having anyone in my way...it sucks. Ever since my Dad and I have gotten front row we ALWAYS try to get front row now. Though we were second row for the AHI thingy on the SYW tour! But I'm not complaining it rocked still!

Front or second row. I usually hate sitting anywhere else.

First 10 rows. For any concert. Make that your rule of thumb.

Honestly,
Depends on the show... Once you reach a point in your life where you have gone to enough concerts, clubs and theaters, then you decide for yourself.
Also, depends on the venue... 2nd row at a stadium tour not as cool as an arena show, which is not as cool as a smaller theater etc...

Sat in the front PLENTY of times, but is the price right if you go to a ton of shows?

I like something up front and near the aisle--makes running for the stage during the Edge walk much easier.

I bet it would. I don't think our seats are right on the aisle, so I am pretty much counting myself out of the edge walk, but that is ok.

Here's what you do. Right before she does "Edge"--position yourself near the end of your row. Then the second you hear the intro to Edge--run like hell to the front of the stage. If a bodyguard tries to stop you--be polite but insistant that it's the "Edge" walk. They usually know the deal so they'll let you by. Then hope you can wiggle your way to the front of the stage. Good luck! And Enjoy!

And hey--Stevie's set may be predictable but at least it gives us a good idea of when Edge will be in her set so we can get to the front of that stage!

I definitely agree with this--I would not want to be up front at a general admission show in a stadium

Having been in the front row for the first time last wed., I believe the BEST seats (for me, at least) are in the 2nd or 3rd rows, dead center. 2nd is the very best because the front row usually goes to the stage and your right there in Stevie's line of vision. I believe everyone should experience front row at least once though.

Honestly, if its to see Stevie, then I want as close as possible! I was lucky enough this time to get the 7th row in Norfolk. Can't wait to see that Gold Dust woman again!

I really think it depends on the level of the stage...... at DTE the stage is really low where you can rest your arms on the stage and watch--really cool! I was in the front at Grand Rapids also but that stage was very high and they had a bunch of speakers and stuff in the way and you basically were looking up all night--still cool--but DTE is def. better. Although security at DTE sucks!!

Yes, you're right about the stage height. It can make all the difference. Cool that one of your venues has a lower stage. The So. Cal. venue stages are generally pretty high, unfortunately for me. Caesars stage would be pretty low if Stevie kept it as it was built (at a slight downward slant) instead of building out on it to even the stage floor so it doesn't have a slant. Doing this raises the height of the stage there.
