Hmmm...so it seems, according to her recent blog updates, as though she was feeling played by the executive producer, Bill Geddie, with whom she says she did not get along. The split-screen, the not cutting to commercial, the selection of war-related "Hot Topics"...all happened conveniently during May sweeps. To me, it sounds as though they were trying to conjure up some Rosie controversy, and for that, she felt betrayed.
In the latest video on her blog, Rosie compared the situation to working on Broadway. In theatre, she said, there is a sense of teamwork...when one person mistakes, everyone else is there to cover for it and to support one another. That didn't happen on "that show," she said. So it seems that it wasn't necessarily the feud with EH that was her sole reason for leaving...but the fact that it was almost orchestrated, and then how it was allowed to play out, with the split-screen and no break for commercials. |
