Default Polyphonic Spree

I saw them on Austin City Limits and liked them quite a bit. I never bought any albums but thought they'd be a great band to see live. They are coming to a small club in July for $22 so I'm going to buy a ticket this morning.

Anyone see them live before? They seem a bit cultish and strange, but unique and quite talented.

I saw them when they opened for Bowie on his last tour...I liked them and got some of their stuff on iTunes, but never a whole album. They do seem sort of cult-ish (literally! ha!) Bowie said it best at the show - that they were a mix between the Flaming Lips and "Hair". ha! that really covers it actually.

I'm not clever enough.

No one's seen this band live?

I've never even heard of them. I'll have to Google them.

I've heard them live when they performed on the radio a few times. Too "Sllver Platters" for my taste.

They are fabulous live! The lead singer used to be in a very different band, who I can't recall at the moment, but they had a hit song/video awhile back...I'll dig around and edit my post when I figure it out - slammed w/ work at the moment...
