I "say" should of (southern I guesss) but "type" should have

should have just takes too much effort to say (on edit..i guess I say "should've" LOL)

like i was asking carrie the other day.

i looked it up - omitting the t is actually the preferred pronunciation. so it's all good.

Seriously Well he never said anything was a "moo point" so no.

And by the way...I've sort of adopted that whole "moo point" thing - but only with friends/family who know what it means....

Oh me too. We pull out Friends quotes all the time.

"Aw, he's her lobster." or "It's not that common, it doesn't happen to every guy, and it IS a big deal!" or whenever someone says something like "What in the name of hell?!" we automatically go "Maybe he found your flip flop?" or whenever something tastes gross "Yup, it's fat! I'm drinking fat!"

"Aah, she's one of us now."

"How you doin'?" Ofcourse.

"The cushions are the essence of the chair!" "So, I am taking the essence."

Okay, I'll stop.

Oh I CAN'T STAND "supposubly" which is probably spelled "supposably" since people who use it must think things are "supposable" and not "supposed". Whatever.

But does anybody here have to deal with people saying "might could"? Even journalists in Dallas use it. And when spoken in a harsh Texas accent - it don't sound any purtier.

wow, "might could." i've only heard that a couple times in my life, and only from texans. so ... i think it might be a regional thing.

Ok, my 2 cents...

It is "a lot", two words. "When you correct my spelling and grammar, it hurts a lot."

Unless one is going to allocate items, then the word to use is "allot". "I have to allot much of my income to pay the bills before I can spend that much on Stevie Nicks concert tickets."
