4 am on this side of the pond.

But since I have rather low expectations, I will catch it Friday morning when I get up.

The roll call and countdown to the “Tour Kickoff” is right!!! It’s that “magickal” time again. I hope all is well in each and every one of your kingdoms. I’ve missed conversing with you folks. Please accept my apologies for being a stranger to this fantastic forum setup here for us. Time isn’t what it used to be. That stated, I would like to say I’ve really enjoyed reading your threads all throughout the years. I’m going to try to be more present.

Well kids, I have to confess. I cheated…big time! I have bit the bullet and purchased tickets for Concord through a broker (StubHub) ($552 for two tickets including shipping and commission). I swore to myself I never would do this…that is until I discovered the true evil nature of what I now know is TicketMaster! I guess this is where I say “If you can’t beat ‘em – join ‘em!”

Can I say…that I really hate the whole process of acquiring tickets for Stevie’s shows? It’s an absolute heartache. “Sometimes it’s a Bitch, Sometimes it’s a breeze!” But most of the time it’s the absolute worst! Not knowing I’d be jumping from one fire into another with respect to not knowing exactly where the seats are, whether or not I would receive them in time, or even if I did…whether they’d be valid.
Kill me now and put out of my misery. I did call StubHub and they did assure me that the seller has been very reputable with ebay for the past 3 years with no complaints. It did make me feel better about ruling out possible fraud. Yes indeed I have had really great luck in the past with TicketMaster at the very last minute for scoring really great seats in the past 4th row or better, but this year had me spooked because of Chris Isaak's participation. To think people will actually be there to see him and not Stevie really is disconcerting to me.

These are the facts as I understand them. The online sellers do release these unsold tickets back to TicketMaster more often than not, depending on the Promoter or Venue. Often times these sellers actually work for TicketMaster…isn’t that sinister? That’s how they’re able to acquire these blocks of choice seats so easily. Aaaaah…to be on the inside. I have found that diligence pays off and try to catch TicketMaster just as they’re updating their systems usually mid-morning – late night this...varies. I always try to probe as much info when I call these Reps to glean any insight into mastering this game myself.

I’ll tell you, though, I am done – you here me…done with this game. It’s not fun anymore. I’m too old for this. I have decided to set up a Stevie Nicks Concert Fund immediately following this concert so as to always be able to afford secondary market ticket prices. I don’t even care anymore. I know this is going to sound terrible and I am so embarrassed to admit this but…I can't bring myself to attend a Stevie / Fleetwood Mac Concert unless I’m within the first 7 rows. I think it’s some kind of psychological disease where I feel if I’m going to be that close to Stevie for a few hours I need it to be as intimate as possible. The first 7 rows I suppose satisfies this desire…no?

Needless to say, I’m beside myself when I say to you that I, at least, will be sitting in the 2nd row of the pit!!! AAAAHHHHHH!!!! I am very excited!!! Stevie’s worth it. It’s only too bad she doesn’t reap the benefits of secondary market prices though. What a crime. I’ve been seeing her for over 20 years now. “Rock A Little” was my first tour at 14 years old. I’m dating myself for sure!

I’m hoping to meet some of you at this concert this time. Last time Stevie came around I posted a thread to see if anyone from the ledge would be there - no one responded. Alas, I didn’t meet anyone from the ledge. Again, and as always I will be the crazy one with the wild blond main of hair with top hat and beribboned tambourine dancing up a storm in the 2nd row. I am not particularly shy, so I probably will be saying hello to everybody at that show. I hope it’s one of you guys. Say Hello!

A special hello to Miss Jazmen Flowers! I was sorry that I didn’t have the where-with-all to attend your “Crystal Visions” event. I know it was very special. I know how much work goes into producing something like that. I’ve finally seen some pictures of you, and if I do say so myself, you are absolutely gorgeous! I would love to see the new shawls you debuted. I, myself, am a “Female Illusionist” (if you will) in San Francisco. I belong to the Imperial Court, a fundraising Drag organization up here in San Francisco. www.imperialcouncilsf.org Stevie is definitely my muse when I perform. I would love to know where and how you cobbled together some of your stage clothes. If you get an opportunity check out this website for some very affordable and very beautifully made corsets. www.timeless-trends.com I’m hoping you’ll being able to produce your next event in the bay area. If you ever need help in making this happen please let me know. I’ve done my “Gypsy Hijinks” events here for several years. This past February I produced “The Wild Hearts Ducal Ball”. Though it was Stevie inspired it was more Gypsy in theme. I really loved the choices you made for your set list. It sounds like everyone had a great time.

Well, again I hope to have a chance to party with some of you this Thursday night. Above all else…be safe and blessed and enjoy the show...and remember go ahead "Dress like a Gypsy!"

Yours with Love, Light, and Magick,
Tommy –Moon Brother

Kind of like "hey, Paula, can you put this in your purse for me? Can you hold this? Can you jam this in your bag?" Ahhh, the memories of concerts with Amber.

Hey, I was just trying to help you lose weight. By carrying a heavier bag. I'm a giver. Deb has some of the same memories. She graciously put my cig case & lighter in her jeans pocket for me last week at Storm, as, of course, I was wearing a cute dress. I didn't make her hold my sweatshirt, though, I checked it. See? Giver.

Oh, and I panicked and bought a 7th row ticket. Well, it's not really panic, they at least need overnight to ship it. Which costs $25, btw. Suck. I could've afforded a closer ticket, but they were only selling those in pairs. Losers. I'm still going to try to win first row tomorrow, though. Sweeeeeet.

I will be one happy dude tomorrow night if she does your set list, even without Stand Back. I think if you take out TTM, ICW, and POTU, you have a better shot of being accurate, though.

I definitely think she'll do Talk To Me. If not tomorrow, later in the tour. I guess Jazz will know tomorrow since he beat me to the texting play by play...bitch

JK Jazz!
Wouldn;t talk to me be great?

I just would hate for her to do something new and struggle vocally with it, know what I mean?

My man, Stevie doesn't struggle anymore. Plus she's probably rehearsed her new songs constantly.

You know what, that is a really good point. I don't know what I was thinking. Anything new that she does will probably be classic and I can't wait to see her for the 1st time. SOOOOO excited.

Maybe she'll even come to the KY State Fair.

I would totally head down if Mac played the Downs.

Yeah, I would too, I mean, who the heck wouldn't?

Seriously though, I have wanted to see her solo for so long, and I went through a stage in 2005 where I didn't listen to her really at all, so I didn't feel like I needed to see her during Gold Dust....... And I regret that decision even today.
