^ Not sure. Might be the mixers that are the problem. I'll do some more research.

I was about to do some research too. A friend told me that those stupid "froot beers" as she calls them (Smirnoff Ice etc) have like upwards of 300 calories....I've yet to look into that one...perhaps today when I get to work I'll do some research on that Yes, folks, productivity is my middle name

^ I don't think they have 300, but it's probably close to 200. Mike's is making both the lemonade and the cranberry lemonade in a light version (75 cals.) Now if I could just get them to make a light lime. Yum

OK, red wine has about 130 calories & 3 carbs per 6 oz glass. White has 120 & 1.5 carbs. Champagne has 165 calories & 6.5 carbs.

Hard liquor that's 80 proof has about 100 calories her 1.5 oz. 100 proof is about 125 calories. Little to no carbs in clear liquors. Cream liquors like Bailey's have about 100 calories per ounce & do have carbs.

A few examples of mixed drinks I found.

Bloody Mary - 125cals/5carbs
Vodka & cranberry - 175/18
Rum & Coke - 182/13 (Rum & Diet Coke - 133/0)
Long Island Iced Tea - 274/4
Gin & tonic - 178/0 (they make a diet tonic, btw)
Martini - 175/0
Whisky Sour (made with the mix) 175/17
Margarita (frozen mix) 250/27
Margarita (on the rocks, made with the real stuff) 182/8

I'm sure this has been posted bfore (probably in this thread, lol) but I just came across it while searching. Has nutritional info for pretty much anything you can think of, incl. meals from chain restaurants. Scary, but good info. Don't look if you don't wanna know though.

Regular shots should be 1 oz. If booze has 100 caloried per 1.5 ounces, that that's 66 calories per ounce (right? I suddenly forgot how to do fractions/algebra/equations.)

So Jill, if you do 3 shots, that's around 200 calories.

^ It's obviously those stupid sugar-laden mixes. Of course, it's not like I ever thought they were healthy or anything. But still. Wow.

Update - Bacardi Silver drinks have 225 cals/32.5 carbs (I don't do "low carb" but holy sh*t!)

Bacardi Low Carb Black Cherry has 94 cals/4.5 carbs. That's a bit better.

Since we were discussing beer yesterday, I decided to do a bit of research. This info was found on the internet, so take it with a grain of salt - I don't know if it's all totally accurate, but seems to be pretty close. Obviously, that Beck's Light that Sparky mentioned is the best diet-wise. Here's the data on some others. And no, I'm not an alcoholic. But I am a nerd.

BEER - CALORIES - CARBS

Amstel Light - 95 - 5
Bud Lt - 115 - 4
Genesee Lt - 95 - ?
Miller Lt - 95 - 3
Michelob Lt - 125! - 9! How can they call this light beer?
Molson Lt - 120 - 7
Coors Lt - 102 - 5
Corona Lt - 105 - 5
Labatt Blue Lt - 110 - 8
Mike's Lt lemonade - 75 - 2
Rock Green Light - 95 - 3
Yuengling Lt - 98 - 6.5

Hmmm Coors light! ****! 102 X 12 = disaster. Yeah, that was a fun night.

^ Glad I could be of service.

Shameless bragging - I'm in a size 8/10 now. Down from a 12/14.
