I've had to work late this whole week and totally missed the show. The radio stations are really making fun of Barry Gibb's appearance Did he really look that bad?

They said that the Bee Gee songs were too hard for the contestants to sing.

Then they were laughing about Barry's gray hair and made fun of the shirt he was wearing...saying that it was see-through and that his appearance was enough to scare small children!

Was it that bad?

it wasn't great. he did look odd, but he's had a lot of bad luck and bad health lately. I didn't think he looked that bad, I mean, he's old...his gray hair didn't bother me, but what he wore was atrocious. horrid. I'd fire at least 3 people over it. and for some reason, his upper lip area scared the bejesus out of me.

during his meetings with the contestants he kept leaning on the piano and the shirt he had on hugged his waist and lordy...it put his "spare tire" on prominent display. again...I'd fire at least 3 people for insubordination.

you can probably catch a couple clips on YouTube.

Hmmm... That's what they said (referring to his upper lip) that he looked like his teeth were either bothering him or he had some sort of lip cancer or something. Then they mentioned that he has had some health issues

but that the shirt was downright awful and inappropriate for a man his age....and that one could see the chest hairs through the shirt...whatever THAT means.

I wanna find a replay of the show.

not to mention that no man his age should wear that shirt with those jeans and tuck it in. just plain wrong.

I didn't think he looked that bad, except for the ill-fitting dentures.

How painful was their "tribute to barry Gibb" montage. Blech. Although it did remind me that he wrote Islands in the Stream, which was a fact I had forgotten.

I loved Blake and the way he sang "You Should be Dancing." Jordin was very good with both of her songs.

Barry looked and sounded great as always. Seem the Bee Gees are always being made fun of but I bet those DJ's and other people wish they could afford that lovely white mansion he has in Miami Beach and beautiful English home in England

He doesn't wear dentures. Caps, but not dentures.

Barry has a bad back and had back surgery years ago. He also suffers from arthritis in his hands too. You willl notice that if you see him in videos playing the guitar and he has a hand brace on.

It was probably his beautiful wife, Linda, who picked out that shirt. He has several of them so perhaps, she likes him to wear those and he does look good for a 60 year old man.

We all get older

I like Blake. my point wasn't that he wasn't good, but that he showed how limited his vocal range is. it is what it is...not necessarily a good or bad thing. I didn't like Jordin.

he didn't look awful either. he looked like an old Bee Gee. plain and simple. but what does his wealth have to do with critiquing.

like I said, he's had issues lately. and I don't care how beautiful his wife is, the shirt was gross. he should kick her ass for choosing it. she likes him to wear shirts that aren't flattering, tuck them in and show off his cameltoe?

again, you either misunderstood or missed the part where I said, he's old, what do you expect, but that he looked ok and sounded ok, considering. pointing out the obvious (that someone is old) doesn't mean I don't appreciate my health. and is he only 60? wow.

all in all, my point is...soundwise? ok, fine, good enough. appearance? someone shoulda helped him.
