And we think Stevie is nostalgic?

Hostas are one of my favorite plants. I like the ones that are all burgundy and velvety looking. That is all I have to offer on this thread, except that I would love for Stevie to release some new material and I adore "Rush, Rush" the song and the video. Obligatory nodding emoticon to follow.

I liked that song when I was younger. I tried to get into it again recently and I couldn't help but think she was singing about a guy (or MC Skat Kat) ejaculating into her. "Rush, rush, I can feel you deep inside of me" or the like, etc.

You like the video? With Keanu Reeves pretending to be an actor?!??

^^I was with my French partner at the time and he was back home for the summer when the song was popular. Being the hopeless romantic that I am...er, that I was...I decided it was "our" song. I actually barely remember the video, but I loved it in a cheesy way.

I understand. I love "Straight Up" partly because it reminds me of being a kid.

I actually became a Paula fan late in the game ... not really until the "Blowing Kisses In The Wind" video came out ... the flowing dresses she wore, the square mic she sang into ... oh how it reminded me of Stevie. And years later she showed her love for Stevie on AI, who knew? But I was hooked as soon as I saw and heard "Vibeology" .... "gimme gimme gimme gimme that vibe" - that is still a club favorite ... I get requests for it at the club.

Straight up, now tell me...did anyone know Paula Abdul did the choreography for Dolly Parton's Smoky Mountain Christmas?

For that I will always be in her debt.

I didn't think you were really...just wanted to make sure.

I felt like that litle dog with the cigar that says "I keed, I keed!"

Um HELLO!?! At the beginning..."there's a cabin in the piney woods, a winter mountain scene...where the snow is gently falling on the peaceful evergreens..." then enter the gay dancers

So yeah, the beginning sequence where Lorna is filming her music video...

Right? SOOOOO cheesy-- but I love it...and those dancers provided much amusement for me and my best friend while we were obsessed with that movie.

"put me down guys...." ha...love it.
