Finally, I highly doubt an 11 year old has the savy to leak that VM. Kim, on the other hand had every reason to and the wherewithall to do it.

But, you will never ever admit that Kim did anything wrong or could even possibly have done anything wrong -- and even if she did, any public humiliation of Ireland was worth it to bring this topic into general public discourse.

Anyway, last word is your's until we know more facts, which I think will be revealed on The View tommorow

I agree with you, regarding language content, the word "pig" is relatively mild compared to other things I've heard angry people say. I think it was the vehemence that shocked a lot of folks

I never said Alec had a history of hitting Ireland, but I DO get the impression he's a control freak just by the fact that he's willing to fly 3000 miles to set her straight....thats a bit extreme IMO, and again, not much to look forward to in a visit.

I dont believe Ireland leaked that tape, I dont think anyone thinks she did it. I think its probably safer to posit that Kim's attorney advised that the tape go public. I dont know his reasons....but I doubt Kim did it on her own. This all smacks of strategic maneuvering to me

I personally doubt we'll hear too much more in the way of "facts" I think what we will hear will be spin from both camps trying to sway public opinion.

Paula, to answer your question: after what I saw happen in my own case and in many other similar cases, I can tell you truly that none of the avenues you suggested are a guarantee of safety. My son was left to his father's "tender mercies" for a year and a half in spite of overwhelming evidence of the folly that would be. As for the bit about Carrie, contrary to popular opinion, I dont scrutinize all her posts

I dont expect ANYONE to agree with me, but I will say my opinion is just as valid as any of yours.

1 - Well, we agree on something as far as facts coming out.

2 - I never said they were guarantees. But neither is releasing the recording to the media. Would you have gone to the media with a video of your son's abuse, or his detailed description of what happened? I know it's a different situation, but you brought it up so I'm trying to understand. I don't think you would do that, even if you felt you weren't being fairly heard by CPS/judge/whoever involved with the case.

3 - Well after your post describing what you know about Carrie, it seemed that you had been studying up or something. I asssumed you knew that Carrie's mom's a whore.

I have never appreciated the Ignore function as much as I do now.

On another note- no one sent me any freeking chocolate penises.... Are they solid milk chocolate, or are they hollow like easter bunnies? If they're hollow, who's member were they cast from? <--- I guess this answer would determine whether or not I would want one.

Paula, are you obtuse? I DID answer that question already. Several pages back. I get the impression you are just trying to needle me and calling it "trying to understand." Whatever. Btw, people come out with tales of sexual abuse all the time, do the Catholic Church's problems ring a bell? Thats just for starters.

I never said I was an expert on Carrie, the few things I mentioned were off the cuff, spontaneous and split second. Nothing too deep or involved, believe me.
