she almost lost it at one point. I heard her almost go offkey, but she caught herself. she's really good, but she's starting to get on my nerves. and I hate when she makes her voice crack when she switches notes.

they were all really blah to me last night. Lakisha surprised me with how off she was. I thought Simon was hilarious when he called out Melinda's surprised look. Blake was really good, imo. Phil was ok too. Chris was just...weird. I can't explain it. and what the hell was he talking about being nasal on purpose? I don't get it. was he trying to be funny?

Martina looked absolutely scrumptious. she's so gorgeous.

I know what you mean. I want to like her, but I just can't, she gets on my nerves too.

One thing though, I do enjoy and I mean really enjoy her when she's standing next to Seacrest. She is a BIG girl. TALL and w i d e.

Poor Ryan. He looks uncomfortable standing next to her.

ITA. but she has the most gorgeous teeth. I try to like her...and I do, but I'd still like to fight her.

and wtf was she wearing last night. it looked like an S&M outfit gone wrong...way wrong. more like a shower curtain.

LOL. Total.

An absolute sheer drape. But it hides her child bearing hips very well. The prior 2 shows she wore clothes that made her look frumpy.

She does have very nice teeth and I like her nose ring...but not enough to vote for her. Damn, she just bugs.

Well, Jordin was the only one whose line was busy last night when I tried to vote. I couldn't bring myself to vote even once for Sanjaya or Chris, even to test if they were getting votes or not, so I'm not sure about their prospects.

I think Chris was absolutely serious about singing "nasal-y" on purpose. I can't believe that would be the case, but he's not smart enough to show a sense of humor or laugh at himself. Did you see Simon roll his eyes when Chris said his heart goes out to the people affected by the VA Tech shootings? I wonder whose idea it was for Simon to add his condolences then at the end. Must have been a producer who saw the reaction caught on camera and didn't want people to think he's totally heartless.

I didn't hate Phil as much as I usually do. I'm worried for Lakeesha. She may be the next casualty of all this Sanjaya love. I voted for her a zillion times. It's not her time to go yet.

Chris was horrid and his backtalk about nasally being a method of singing was pure BS. I hate "Jesus Take the Wheel," but LaKisha really botched it.

Blake was just okay to me last night, but he's still my favorite.

You think Jordin will win. Nobody's saying she won't, so enough already. You don't have to keep posting the same thing on every page of this thread. Please. I beg of you. I swear that if she wins, we'll all remember that you called it and give you a ****ing medal. OK?

Whew. I feel better now. That said, Jordin was the best last night, but I agree with Richard's shower curtain assessment.

Lakesha was off - I said to myself "she's shouting" before I heard the judges' comments. Melinda was amazing & looked adorable. I didn't love Blake's performance, but in general he's really good. Phil was better than ever before, but I fear he'll get the boot. Hopefully Chris will instead (he made my ears bleed) because we all know Sanjaya's not going anywhere (that little ****er.) He didn't even sing last night, he talked through the song. WTF.

Obviously it depends on your geographical area as to busy tones. Less people, less busy tones.

I could not get through to Sanjaya and Melinda very easily last night. LaKisha was free and easy.

I don't vote for anyone else. Wait, I did vote for Blake once. Rang right through.
