hi all...i was shocked to find out u were so young on 1 hand but on the other it makes sense now when some of the posts were a little weird and peop were getting pissed at u..i'm impressed that ur such a stevie fan and please pass ur obsession around to others ur age...stevie has been my fav for more than ur whole life times 2 so kudos to u ethan and keep up the stevieness (if there isn't such a word there should be)...hope all goes well with ur surgery...take care...pat

Well I totally know how Ethan feels. Being 16 and being a huge Stevie fan is kinda hard. She's not what your typical teen's are into and so meeting people with similar taste is not easy. Fortunatley, I converted Hannah so she is my "lil-stevie-fan-bitch". So I have had someone to discuss Stevie-ness with. Ethan, I know what your on about, but you're not alone. Hannah (MissyWiggy) and myself are both 17 and I know there are some people in their late teens/early twenties around the ledge. I also get what ya mean about wanting to be liked. The difference is with me, if people don't like me I don't care - thats their problem. I think you really need to just ignore certain people around here and take what they say with a pinch of salt. I happen to think we need more people like Ethan posting regularly to keep the ledge going.

It never ceases to amaze me that some of the so-called adults on this board behave worse than the children. It's a sad thing if beating up on a 16-year-old gives you some sort of satisfaction. What power you've given Ethan!

I am SO having that as my MSN name. Tis very true tho. And we do discuss our Stevie-ness a LOT

Chris (TheWILDheart) is right though Ethan, you shouldn't give a damn what people think - there are more important things to think about. Let them get on with it.

I can't remember who said this, but I'll never forget it: "The people who matter don't mind, and the people who mind don't matter". Very true if you think about it.

I'm very very glad Ethan has decided to take a sabbatical from here, if that's what he's doing. There's just too many of his threads taking up a lot of space that are way too similar or could be combined. Sixteen is not too young to start practicing restraint.

I'm not taking a sabbatical, I am just changing my ultra-hyper ways for the better. It's the new me.
