Not defending her here, but everyone's definition of "lame" is different. I imagine there are millions of people out there who think we're ultra-lame for liking Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac/Lindsey Buckingham... yet we don't see it that way.

Fair enough. Although you should check out that Primitive Radio Gods song -- I think you'll like it. It's been a favorite of mine since the first time I heard it (about a decade ago).

I already mentioned in a previous post that I liked that track, and the Janet Jackson one...

Oops... I missed that.
I love four of the songs on her list... I'm unfamiliar with some of the others and have no opinion on the rest.

Default wow I'm suprized.

I'm shocked, most of them, suck.hehehe, must be my age again.

Here's my opinion on these songs

Delete * That's the Way Love Goes - Janet Jackson She Sucks, showoff, I like Latoya.
Delete * Angel of Mine - Monica ok " I don't really like the new R&B tunes these days"
Delete * Standing Outside a Broken Phone Booth With Money in My Hand - Primitive Radio Gods " Who, I never heard of that one" does not ring a bell.
Delete * Tender Love - Force MDs " Who, I never heard of that one"
Delete * This Woman's Work - Maxwell " Who, Maybe I heard of this one"
Keep * Your Body Is Wonderland - John Mayer "He's the second best pick on here.
Delete * Go Deep - Janet Jackson She sucks again, same crap beat.
Keep * A Thousand Miles - Vanessa Carlton The best song on here
Delete * Cry Me a River - Justin Timberlake He's a jerk, and a arshole.
Delete * What Goes Around.../...Comes Around Interlude - Justin Timberlake "hahaha, this bozo again, come on , wake up.
Delete * 7 Days (DJ Premier Remix) - Craig David " Who, I never heard of that one"

only 2 I'll keep, the rest stinks, Sorry Stevie.

Keep * A Thousand Miles - Vanessa Carlton The best song on here
Keep * Your Body Is Wonderland - John Mayer

I read that IMUS hated her playlist choices too.

I like to know too.It looks like she likes the young generation tunes better.

Lease I agree with Imus on this one.

Wat a funny thread.

Considering this is her playlist before she performs, now I know the reason why I do not enjoy her live shows anymore.

LOL.

Calling someone else's taste in music "lame" is simply rude and insulting. It doesn't matter if it's Stevie or anybody else.

I call people's taste in music lame all the time, and vice-versa. I don't view it as insulting - get off your high horse...

oh come ON. buck up a bit. it's frickin music. do you really care that much what people think of the music YOU listen to? if you do, you have to get over yourself. life is going to get a whole lot tougher than that.

It dawned on me today that Christine Fans and Lindsey Fans never argue amongst themselves or chastize each other the way we Stevie Fans do.

Maybe they are better people than we are after all.
