Yo, E, Sharon and Carrie are right. You have a habit of starting threads, and then abandoning them unless someone starts "drama"... then you come back with "omgz guys no fites pls." I don't think I've ever seen you actively participate in any of the discussions you've started, maybe other than to agree with what someone else said. That's the reason why a lot of people figure you create threads just to up your post count or get attention. Especially when you use the ! shield thing. Sharing demos isn't really an urgent matter.

I'm not trying to bully you, just sayin'. You can't be offended or surprised if your threads don't go anywhere. I don't think anyone was starting a bashing party either. We call 'em as we see 'em.

Thanks so much Dreamz19...

I'd never heard this before. I think it's better than either of her self-penned tunes on Tango...Certainly at this point in her career she sounded more confident belting rock-n-roll

Oh, it's fun! It aint Rhiannon--or even Sister Honey. But I think she sounds better here than she does on WISYA or WTRS...

I really can't see What has rock and roll ever done for you fitting in on Tango. Though it's a nice enough song for Stevie Solo

I can't really say anything myself because I have downloaded these songs before, but it makes me sick to see a thread like this in this forum where JOHN MCVIE has actually posted.

Does anyone have any demo, roughs, outtakes etc. of mirage songs?
More specifically, is there any alternate off Hold me? I'd love to hear how this song came to be whatnot. Perhaps I should ask in the Cristine McVie forum?

i hear ya there.

this kind of thread just absolutely bewilders me. i don't understand

A) why a relative newbie decides that we need an OFFICIAL unreleased demos thread, when so many demos have been posted throughout this board and others over the months and years;

B) why said newbie can't simply do what we all did to find and obtain our demos, etc. that is. visit various sites, trade with other fans (hear that, ethan? trade - as in you give something to get something back), do some research, and slowly build up a collection

C) what would happen if it was actually an UNOFFICIAL thread, and what that might imply.

D) why i even bother to reply

I have a few Mirage songs... Here's a rough/outtake of Hold Me. I'll post the others later on unless someone else does.

Ok I am a little confused here so please bare with me in my ignorance. Is it against the rules to start a thread like this?

A month or two ago Ethan had started a similar thread in the Stevie Nicks forum asking for Stevie demos. The thread was going well and many posters were giving out demos. No one stated there was a problem. Then another older poster was gracious and kind enough to develop a thread posting all of her demos of Stevie. So I am wondering, is that against the rules? or you just personally feel these kinda threads shouldn't be started by newbies or just anyone in general? I did notice that some said Ethan does not contribute enough to the threads he starts. If that is the case I can understand why people are annoyed.

I am not trying to be rude or anything. I really wanted to know since you both seem pretty genuinely upset about it and in those other two threads there didn't seem to be an issue. I am new to demos myself so I am unaware of demo etiquette (for lack of a better term) Before I post any other songs or ask for any I want to make sure.

Courtney, that's just the way it is. People have problems with my spunk and my personality, and call it annoying. Do I intentionally do it? NO, but some people seem to think so anyway.

Why I even continue to post when I could be focusing more on my recovery.
