Exclamation The Official Unreleased Demos for Posting Thread

So, I thought that it would be a great idea for us to post any Mac demos of unreleased songs that we have in our collection. This way, newbies can be welcomed into the world of demos if they want it, and those Mac fans that just don't have any Mac demos can start a collection (this would be me).

So, with that, post away. Any album, any era from FM to BTM!!! Have FUN!!! Hopefully we can get some great stuff going.

Much Love,
Ethan

Hey well, I guess I'll post something..... This is from the Tango sessions, it is a Stevie song. "What Has Rock And Roll Ever Done For You"............

edit: I tried uploading this, and other files at yousendit, and it isn't working. I'll try later but "IN the meantime" post away people.

Thumbs down

I think I have quite a lot of patience, and usually I can skip the stuff I don't want to read... but I'm just getting really annoyed by all this attention seeking stuff in your posts: the exclamationmark shields, the 'OFFICIAL' threads, the 'great ideas'...

Ugh.

Time for the ignore function, you've got the honour of being the first ledgie I'll use it on. Congrats, buhbye!

I am in no way seeking mass attention with this thread. MOST threads with unreleased demos use the exclamation point.
I guess I'll take fault in the "official" thread thing. I should've remembered that people don't like that, but I appologize.

Let's end this upcoming drama bashing party before it starts.

I don't have much to offer but I love the impromtu Mirage Era I've been loving you too long. Just got this over at Buckingham Nicks a few weeks back.Sorry I don't have more to share. In which case, I'd like other people to offer what they have. If even one person didn't have it before I posted it, then success! If everyone in the world has this and I was the last one to be excited about it, I'm out a minute of my day! Take the risk so that someone might hear a new [version of a] song!

I'd be remiss if I didn't post Ricky because this is my treadmill groove! Though I think this is a b side release from the Tango era, it's labeled as a demo in itunes so why not.
The Combo of Fleetwood, McVie, and Buckingham never sounded better.
Yes, I hate the trite lyrics of Oh Ricky, and Tell me, Tell me, Tell me but since seeing Lindsey live this tour, I've taken to singing Oh Lindsey, won't you come out tonight!; Cause the dude is never onstage before 8:30 at most shows. If I get to go to another show, I'll be singing this to get him to come out!!! Still love his music though!

Oh how John McVie's bass line kicks arse on this too!

If anyone has any other versions of this song, please post!

thanx

Ethan, I have nothing against you but I think what annoys people most about these posts of yours is that you start a thread expecting, sometimes even demanding people to share opinions, pictures or MP3s but rarely, if ever, offer anything yourself.

If you want people to talk about a song, first give your thoughts about it, don't just tell people to talk away. If you want people to post pictures, offer a few photos yourself first and it will inspire others to do the same.
And finally if you want people to take the time dig out their bootlegs, rip them to MP3 and then upload them to the internet you should at the very least upload a few yourself.

You seem to expect people to do things you're not willing to do yourself. And the "yousendit isn't working" excuse doesn't cut it since there are lots of upload sites out there these days. How about sendspace, megaupload, rapidshare etc... I've seen you promise to repost MP3s before and never do it.

No drama, just honest thoughts.

I lovee Ricky. I heard it for the first time about two months since I am pretty new to the demos/bsides thing. Christine's vocals are pretty sexy on it. Most say Brown Eye's is her sexiest song but this ranks up there IMO. I would have liked to hear this on Tango instead of You & I 2 (my least fav on Tango)

I am a newbie when it comes to demos etc, but a few posters a couple of weeks ago were very gracious enough to give out many Stevie demos. So luckily I do have that song and this is actually the first time I can return the favor to someone else. As for the quality, it's not the best but there maybe one out there that is better. Enjoy
