Default Lindsey and John Fogerty-Fraze Pav Kettering, Ohio 7/22

John Fogerty and Lindsey will be playing the Fraze Pavilion in Kettering, Ohio on July 22, 2007.

Go to TM under John Fogerty or Frazee Pavilion. You can also go to Fraze Pavilion website.

Tickets are $30 for Lawn and $50 floor.
Tickets go on sale Saturday 4/28.

I saw Fogerty with John Mellencamp on the two Johns tour 2 years ago at the Hollywood Bowl-front row and it was awesome. You guys will have a super time.

Good Luck Ohio!

Alright!!! Ten minutes from my house.

Now, the big question: Will Billy Burnette make a cameo in Lindsey's set? Either way, this is about as close to a Fleetwood Mac show that I'll see this year...

Wow! What a double bill. John Fogerty is FANTASTIC(!) in concert!!! You will love him. He's all over that stage and looking like he has the best time up there. Not to mention a long list of hit songs he has. I wish I had that double bill in Southern California.

Have fun for those of you going and be sure to post reports on this show!

I sure do enjoy Fogerty too!! He's fantastic live. I've seen him a few times!! Front row is the way to go on his show too if you can.

I will say though, something about the pairing of these two seems odd to me. They are two totally different style shows.

It should be interesting!!

Well I'll be! I drive over a combined 2000 miles to see the man, and now he's coming to my hometown. Never thought THAT would happen! I have seen a few shows at The Fraze, and for the most part they have been really good. Even saw Stevie Nicks there with my hero Boz Scaggs, what a great show! It's a really small outdoor venue, smack in the middle of a nice, quiet neighborhood with good acoustics. If you manage to get floor seats, you won't be disappointed. I will have to end my boycott of the place as my last experience there ranks as one of my worst, and I vowed never to go back. But for Lindsey, I wouldn't miss it for the world! Hmmmm...shouldn't it be Lindsey Buckingham with special guest John Fogerty? Obviously not a JF fan, I don't really feel he's even close to the artist LB is, but hey, that's just me. Still, it should be a great night!

But, you had better get tickets fast, because this isn't a big place and will sell out for sure. They have 'gourmet' food on-site and if you can't get in to the show, reserve a table at the Lincoln Park Grill (937-293-6293) which is right next to the Fraze, and you can at least hear the show while you eat. There is also a Panera Bread walking distance away next to a really expensive French place called L'Auberge. There are a few other eateries close by, no lodging in Kettering though. Closest safe place would probably be The Holiday Inn Express in Centerville (937-424-5757) which is only about 5 miles from the Fraze. My next choice for lodging would be in Fairborn, near Wright State University, lots to choose from, safe and still only about 10 miles from the concert. Other places near downtown, but unless you like dangerous adventures, stay away from downtown Dayton--we weren't voted one of the most dangerous cities for nuthin'! But Kettering, Centerville & WSU-area are very safe. Hope the info helps you out-of-towners. And my best friend, well she had better make the drive to see ME this time (I KNOW you're reading this!). I'll be looking for you Ledgies, good luck!

Huh? What year was that? I've been going to the Fraze since before it opened (saw a local guy -Michael Bashaw- play the commons about a year before it opened), and I don't ever remember Stevie playing there. Saw Rick Vito there with Bonnie Raitt, but he's the only member of Fleetwood Mac I remember playing the Fraze. I've been a HUGE Fleetwood Mac fan longer than the place has been opened, so I definitely would have known about it. I remember Lindsey almost played there about five years ago, but the tour was quickly cancelled. I always thought the Splinter Group should have played there...

Ok, I'm probably mixing concert memories...I may have seen Stevie & Boz in Noblesville, IN in 1998, but I saw Boz for sure at the Fraze, I got my Silk Degrees signed there! As soon as my concert mate calls back (she never forgets anything), or I find my ticket, I'll know for sure!

Boz opened for Stevie during the Enchanted tour in the summer of 1998. In any event, Fogerty by himself is worth $50. You guys are soooo lucky!

Wow, that's gonna be a concert! Hopefully, they join together on the final few songs of the evening.

I know this'll never happen, but, since Billy Burnette's in Fogerty's band, wouldn't it be cool if he came out during Lindsey's set and did "Oh Well" and then back Lindsey up on GYOW?

Now there isn't any mention of Lindsey on the Fraze site for the 7/22 show. I hope it hasn't been scratched. Oh well, I might go see Fogerty anyway.

GypsyS may be right about Lindsey cancelling Fraze. TM has also removed Lindsey's name from the Fogerty order page.

But you should go see Fogerty he puts on a super show. He's very high energy. I thought it an odd match but so is Chris Isaak and Stevie Nicks.

Lets see what happens.

I heard that this show with JF was not happening. Of course I am not 100% sure but it does not look too good.
